Kate was really kind and responsive. She kept me to task when things needed to be done, in a really gentle way. It was helpful being able to communicate via Whatsapp and Kate phoned me quickly if I asked her to when she had a chance. She was accommodating when we changed the order and wanted to provide our own flowers for the coffin. The chapel of rest was lovely and Brian made my aunt and I a lovely cup of tea while we said our goodbyes to Dad. He looked very natural, peaceful and like he was asleep (different from how he looked when he had died, the morticians had done an excellent job in making him look like the photo I sent). Everything went smoothly, the family in Ireland, Canada, New Zealand and India were all able to join us via the webcast service. The pallbearers and main official (sorry can't remember his name or proper title) were professional, kind and very smart. And Alison, the celebrant, was great, she was formal enough but not too formal and made a good speech out of my notes. My dad would have loved it all. Thank you!

I cannot recommend In Memory of Life enough for the send off they helped me provide for my aunt. They were friendly and helpful and patient with me struggling to organise a funeral from 200 miles away. At one of the most challenging times in my life I could not have asked for anyone better.

Very attentive to all our needs. Nothing was too much of an ask. Excellent communication channels and Harriet and the the team were always available to listen and support. In fact amazing. The funeral was seamless from beginning to end. Thank you to Harriet Matt and the whole team at in memory of life.

After tragically losing my fiancée Alice I didn’t have a clue what to do next, I first spoke to Harriet and she was so understanding and explained everything I knew in memory of life was who I was going with, I then spoke to a lady called Megan, and likewise Was so thoughtful and explained everything to me and I had a lot of questions, but between the above and the team of pallbearers who dealt with Alice, they gave her the funeral she deserved, and although it was a heartbreaking situation I hope no one has to go through, I couldn’t ask anymore from them, a big thank you to everyone

Unfortunately, we lost our dear mum in January after a short 6-day illness. This came as a massive shock to me and my family because it was totally out of the blue, we had not planned anything. I came across In Memeroy Of Life after I researched various companies. I called them up and after a short but very helpful conversation, it became clear in my eyes that this was the company I wanted to help me plan my mum's final journey. The compassion and understanding that I was shown helped me deal with a very difficult and emotional situation. I dealt with Megan the most, whose experience was invaluable in making sure everything went according to plan. I can say with absolute certainty that without her help I would have been lost. My mum's final journey although very upsetting went as we had hoped. I am forever thankful for the kindness, help and guidance I got from the very first phone call. My family would also like to extend their thanks to the team of In Memory Of Life.

In Memory of Life were absolutely fantastic taking us through everything required for our Mum’s cremation. Harriet was so lovely and brilliant at responding to all our questions ( and within the same day, if not hour). It was a seamless experience. We hadn’t realised that they weren’t actually that local to us but it didn’t make any difference. The funeral was organised and run smoothly, respectfully and beautifully from start to finish. Special mention to the celebrant Harriet suggested (Ruth Arnold) the funeral conductor (John) and the pull bearers. Thank you I feel we gave our beloved Mum a very good send of and at a time we were grieving any pressure was taken away from us. Thank you once again.

I don't know where to start but can only say Thank You to the team. Started with Harriet and then passed on to Michelle. She was great, patient, efficient, persevering, kind and genuine care was first class. She would always respond to all my queries and requests. The trust was there from start to finish. Michelle was always letting me know what was happening and what needed to be done, we had 2 days of services. Day 1 was services of songs Day 2 was the funeral day Michelle called me the night before to check up on me and to make sure I was happy with all the arrangements. Everything went well on both days, Thank you guys and to think this was Michelle's first burial. A job well done

In Memory Of Life made arranging my Dads funeral as easy as possible and I am very grateful for that. Everyone was very professional and the day ran extremely smoothly and they were very compassionate. Martin our Conductor on the day was brilliant and Megan who arranged everything was also.

Well, where do I start?! Those were my words when looking for a funeral directors. I had never planned a funeral before and had only attended a couple of funerals, non of which ever felt like they were very personable to the deceased, I knew I wanted to make my dads last goodbye the best we could. I started with a Google search and appreciated that I could get a rough quote online before speaking to anyone. I then spoke to Harriet, from there I knew I made the right decision, she listened while I talked and took her time while I went back and forth through the options. Always with so much patience. Kate then took over for all the arrangements, she was just wonderful she went though all the options with such sensitivity. as I didn’t live close to the funeral directors it was fantastic everything could be done over the phone, by email and most accessible for me, through WhatsApp, it made things much easier. I was recommended (through in memory of life) an amazing celebrant who I’m so pleased held my dads service. Kate gave up so much time to make sure I was happy with everything and giving my dad the funeral he would have wanted, I look back on the day through my grief with only fond memories of his funeral as the team at in memory of live and the celebrant truly gave my dad the best send off possible.

In Memory of Life was recommended to us by a friend after hearing about the passing of my grandmother. I could not commend them enough for all their hard word and patience. Family run funeral homes are definitely the best and they really did put our family first. When you are grieving, it can be incredibly difficult to even think about funeral planning but In Memory of Life took a great weight off of our shoulders at such a difficult time with their efficient organisation and impeciable communication. Rebecca was lovely, compassionate and very patient in helping us organise a funeral. In Memory of Life helped us give my grandmother the send off that she would have been proud of and i could not reccomend this funeral company enough. I am so very thankful for their help during a very difficult period.

Having never arranged a funeral before, I was so grateful to be guided so well by Rebecca and Harriet. As soon as I started speaking to a few funeral directors, I knew that I wanted to go with In Memory of Life. Even when I got upset on the phone, they were both so kind and made me feel comfortable, kept me informed along the way and overall they were able to make arrangements to accommodate everything we needed, including a wheelchair accessible vehicle. May Andrews, the celebrant was also so kind and was able to put together a beautiful eulogy based on what we had discussed with her. The ability to communicate with IMoL by WhatsApp was a great help, as it meant that I could do this at work without having to make a private phone call every time. I would recommend anyone to use this company. Thank you for making a difficult time a tiny bit easier to deal with.

In Memory Of Life were a very understanding, considerate and patient funeral directory service. They took us through everything, step at a time, and made the day very special. Only slight confusion was regarding the type of urn we could take when travelling abroad. We highly recommend In Memory Of Life for anyone who unfortunately has to go through this episode in life.

The whole team were excellent - thoughtful, considerate and helpful. They made the event seem effortless and they appointed a wonderful celebrant who was warm, caring and very personal in the way she conducted the service and the celebration afterwards. Highly recommended!

To be honest I don’t know where to begin. From the moment I called in memory of life and spoke to Megan who was so calm and lovely I knew I had chose the right funeral directors for my Nan. The whole process I would have phones calls back and forth and even WhatsApp messages from Megan just checking in making sure everything is ok. This is more than just a job this shows they really do care. When the funeral cars turned up and seeing Martin our funeral director with the other men too, they wore a purple tie in memory of my Nan as this was her favourite colour- that was enough to make anyone tear up! I can’t thank you all enough for everything. You made such a hard time so warming and you took everything on board. You are all amazing in what you do and I can’t thank you all enough! Xx

Michelle, became my named person for a very difficult process, and she guided me in a friendly, calming and professional manner. My many questions were answered swiftly, therefore easing my concerns and any requests we had were answered and followed. The whole service from the very first phone call to this company, gave me the confidence and support I needed to fulfill the last wishes of my Dad and the wishes of my Mum for the funeral. Bryan, our Conductor, and his team, were very respectful and explained the whole process at the Service. My son wished to be a Pall Bearer, and they were very kind and supportive to him as they explained what he needed to do. Putting him at ease as he carried out his wish for his Grandad. I cannot thank Michelle enough for her patience, help, guidance and support. Exactly what is needed at such a difficult and emotional time. The Celebrant that was chosen for us was very good too. She listened to my Dads story and delivered a wonderful and moving Eulogy that completely captured my Dads life. Definitely helped us to achieve the perfect send off for a Husband, Dad, Grandad and Great Grandad. Many thanks again.

Over the past few weeks after our father died, the team at In Memory Of Life Funerals have helped us through such a difficult time in a very compassionate and efficient manner. We cannot thank them enough for all their support and guidance especially recommending Ruth the Celebrant who is lovely, and giving us the opportunity to add some artwork on his casket. Everything went smoothly thanks to them and we have received many messages from people that came to his funeral saying how lovely it was.
