“When our mum passed away suddenly me and my sisters world fell apart. It was just us left here and we had never planned a funeral before. Trying to deal with the emotional stress and planning a funeral was too much to even think about. When we came across In Memory Of Life we instantly knew these were the directors we wanted to go with as a family run company they stood out even more! They treated us like family and were there for us emotionally also. They handled everything! Planned everything, made all the phonecalls for us. They kept us informed every step of the way and worked around us. We’re so thankful for you all! You’ve been amazing.”

“This was a ten-minute committal service for my Mother, who had donated her body to the Royal Colledge Of Surgeons. Given the short time available, the service was perfect and I am sure my mother would agree.”

“Very supportive office staff and Celebrant. Prior to date of Service they provided clear information & answered many queries with great understanding & sensitivity. On the day, the Pallbearers & Celebrant interacted respectfully & compassionately with family, the content of the Service was as we had requested, & everything ran very smoothly. An altogether professional service from 'In Memory Of Life'. (Only very small negative is that I wished someone had offered to point out the Memorial Stone in the Garden of the Crematorium, as we would have liked to have seen it, & didn't think to ask. However, 'I.M.O.L.' staff have kindly said they will send a photo to me).”

“As a family, we have nothing but praise and thanks for the way in which "In Memory of Life" has handled our father's cremation. From start to finish, they have been respectful, courteous and caring. Communication has been personal as well as professional, so we have always known exactly what the procedures are, which decisions we need to make and when, and what to do next, without ever feeling anything but supported. On the day, it was the same. The funeral was necessarily short, and we were concerned that it would feel abrupt and unsatisfying. In the event, it was a perfect microcosm of a longer service, with a beautiful casket, immaculate hearse, well-turned-out and respectful bearers, and our celebrant May who led the short service beautifully and delivered our chosen readings to perfection. A special thank you to Caitlin, our Arranger, we are deeply appreciative of everything you have done. We cannot recommend her and "In Memory of Life" highly enough.”

“We couldn't attend my father's service, fortunately, we were given the opportunity to view it online. I was impressed with the respect and sensitivity throughout the whole process. The attention to detail was wonderful I felt touched by May Andrews's words that she kindly put together. I can't thank everyone involved enough for their kindness and empathetic understanding during this difficult time.”

“Kate and the team excelled in their service in relation to my dad's funeral. The communication was prompt and nothing was too much for them. They made a distressing time much easier to bear. They made sure all aspects were covered. I would recommend their service to anyone with no reservations.”

“The team from In memory of life provided an excellent service for my father and family, the day went really well and Martin(conductor) was very attentive and professional throughout the day. Not a service I want to be using in any hurry but if such service is every needed I would In Memory of Life. Thank you for all your support in managing such a difficult and challenging situation for my family and I!”

“Kay was a brilliant celebrant leading the service. The communication, pre-planning and on the day service was perfect. Thank you for a memorable ceremony. My only feedback would be that the memorial stone and where it was located, for those who have donated their bodies didnt feel that special…. Could you consider making the space as nice as some of the other areas?”

“I was expecting to meet in person with a funeral director, but this company conducts the whole process by phone, email and WhatsApp messages which actually worked brilliantly. Had we wanted to meet someone in person that would have been possible, but there was no need. From the first phone call they were sensitive and knew how to phrase difficult questions. I had the same member of the team (Kate) throughout the whole process and she was friendly and efficient, even answering my queries over the weekend and bank holiday. The website is well set out and easy to navigate. I've never organised a funeral before but they made the process as painless as it could be. It was also cheaper than I was expecting. Very professional team - thank you all very much for making my dad's funeral a very special send off.”

“Losing my husband and thinking about a funeral is the very worst time in my life. However, all the staff at Memory of Life were very considerate and sympathetic. Michelle was exceptionally kind, gentle and thoughtful. She was patient, gave me lots of time and was very thorough in updating me on the progress of the preparations. We had a really beautiful service for my husband and a natural burial. I am very grateful.”
