“I was expecting to meet in person with a funeral director, but this company conducts the whole process by phone, email and WhatsApp messages which actually worked brilliantly. Had we wanted to meet someone in person that would have been possible, but there was no need. From the first phone call they were sensitive and knew how to phrase difficult questions. I had the same member of the team (Kate) throughout the whole process and she was friendly and efficient, even answering my queries over the weekend and bank holiday. The website is well set out and easy to navigate. I've never organised a funeral before but they made the process as painless as it could be. It was also cheaper than I was expecting. Very professional team - thank you all very much for making my dad's funeral a very special send off.”

“Losing my husband and thinking about a funeral is the very worst time in my life. However, all the staff at Memory of Life were very considerate and sympathetic. Michelle was exceptionally kind, gentle and thoughtful. She was patient, gave me lots of time and was very thorough in updating me on the progress of the preparations. We had a really beautiful service for my husband and a natural burial. I am very grateful.”

“I have nothing but very good things to say about the service I received for my Mother's funeral. Needless to say, it is a very difficult time for the family but everything was sympathetically and efficiently dealt with. They found very good people to do the flowers, printing, play the cello, organ and sing and a really wonderful celebrant. It was the biggest relief to have a company that took care of all the details - big and small alike so I wouldn't have to worry. I can thoroughly recommend In Memory of Life. Julian M.”

“We can highly recommend 'In Memory of Life'. They helped us plan a fitting and wonderful service for a beloved member of our family. Matthew fielded the initial call and it was clearly evident at that early stage how well we would be looked after and supported. We naturally made calls to a number of Funeral Directors and they were not even on the same page - in the first instance lacking the interest and compassion Matthew offered at our first contact. We then worked very closely with Harriet who was incredibly helpful, her expertise supported us in planning a 'celebration of life' service that was perfect for the member of family we were mourning the loss of. Harriet was proactive and also highly responsive to our requests. Easy to contact via email and WhatsApp. Harriet matched us with Celebrant Rebecca Lee who also deserves special mention. We had a virtual meeting with her to plan the service and then subsequently were in regular contact with her. She was incredibly efficient and had a lovely manner. Her delivery of the service was pitch perfect and her Eulogy (and the service itself) truly honoured our beloved family member. Thank you to 'In Memory of Life' for easing us through this process and facilitating a wonderful and fitting tribute. We would highly recommend.”

“When our son died in London we felt completely lost, since it meant organising the funeral from abroad, in rather complicated circumstances. We came across In Memory of Life quite by chance and can't praise them highly enough. Their compassion, empathy, commitment, constant but discrete presence and support from the very first phone call to sorting out some outstanding details even after the funeral make for an outstanding team of professionals to whom go our heartfelt thanks for gently guiding us through this heartbreaking experience.”

“The team who work for in memory of life are just so amazing and compassionate and caring people. The moment I called and Megan spoke to me. I knew she was the one to go with to Bury my husband. I lost my husband in February he was very young and they took care of him so much. Megan spoke with me with every detail I needed to do and made sure my husband had a beautiful send off. Megan literally planned everything for me and made sure everything was in place for my husband. I am not good with laptops and tech stuff but we communicated via whats app and it was so much easier for me . She is so professional but a caring person too. I was very scared and upset to plan my husbands funeral but at ease with Megan I did it. Even at the Chapel of rest Kieran and his whole team and I wish I remembered the other people's names, they were fantastic with supporting me in the Chapel of rest, John who conducted the service and burial day was very kind it was a hard day for me and I had nothing but respect given towards me and nothing was forced they were giving me the time I needed to speak with my husband just before he was laid to rest , they also looked after my husband with so much respect . It was just what I had visioned for my husband and more... just so so beautiful They also support you afterwards too I had lots of questions that I missed and I was given support after aswell . I cannot thank them enough and I am forever grateful that you cared for my husband If you have lost a loved one please reach out to in memory of life they are a lovely group of people who really care about you and who you have lost. “Would highly recommend this lovely team of experts to all, Megan was a great help to having never organised a funeral previously, kept great contact and communicated with me at all times. “I was very impressed with In Memory of Life. Everything happened in a logical, professional and quick manner. Matthew and Harriet were calm and empathetic in dealing with all of our questions and requests. In addition, the website, funeral portal, order of service and memorial arrangements were really first class - much more than I initially expected from a funeral business. Arrangements for the Chapel of Rest and for the funeral itself were perfect. I was really pleased that I chose In Memory of Life and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.”

“It seems strange to recommend a funeral director, but In Memory of Life are exceptional. The care and attention to detail they provided for our daughter's funeral. Nothing was too much trouble. 5 stars doesn't seem enough for the service provided. Everyone we spoke too provided the same level of care, but special thanks must go to Rebecca and Brian.”

“Very caring and professional. Supported well by the team and Kate during a complex passing. The team have been fantastic at communicating and checking in to make sure I'm ok. Planning was made bearable with support throughout. The funeral was beautiful and considerations were made that were tailored for the event. The funeral team on the day were also very professional. Small business big heart would highly recommend”

“Exceptionally professional courteous and respectful team of people. We would highly recommend their services. My father knew exactly what type of funeral he wanted for my mother,and it was provided. We were guided through every aspect of the process from beginning to end. Michelle and the team have been exceptional. If I needed advice, quick text and she was back promptly. Bryan and the driver were exceptional so professional helpful and respectful. This was a very emotional experience for our family, and the entire team at In memory of life, were just amazing and we thank you all so very much, from the entire Brooker Family We communicated with the team by text,phone or live chat”
