“I am so glad I chose In Memory of Life to organize the funeral of my mother. Overall the company were extremely efficient (they did what they said they would do and when they said they would do it). I found Matthew extremely sympathetic, supportive and flexible, always willing to accommodate my needs - particularly at a difficult time. His patience was felt and he guided me through the process of a funeral, providing straight forward paper work to support it and make it easily understood. He also provided regular updates as to how things were progressing. I would recommend this company to everyone going through a bereavement. They made the funeral process and experience stress free.”

“Well what can I say . Words can not express how memory of life got me through what was an extremely heartbreaking and difficult time . Each member of the team I spoke to all made me feel at ease and they went out of their way to reliever the best service . Harriet was always reassuring me and meeting all my needs regardless of the day or time . I highly recommend this company and will always recommend them to anyone needing to plan a funeral . “An extremely pleasant team, who were very accommodating of my family and I. Patient, gentle and kind, they took amazing care of my father and treated him with dignity. They were always contactable by phone and email and were flexible. The drivers were so sweet and cordial and the service was beautiful, thanks In Memory Of Life!”

“The Team at In Memory of Life were so professional and supportive throughout the whole painful process of arranging my mum’s funeral. Harriet was my main contact, and she was very compassionate, thoughtful and kind. She understood we wanted something different from the norm, and she helped us arrange a really personalised funeral. She went above and beyond what I could have expected, and it meant a lot and was very much appreciated. I would thoroughly recommend In Memory of Life, they provided an excellent service”

“Losing someone is very hard and very quickly the practicality of organising a funeral can become very overwhelming. “Memory of Life gave us excellent service. When we first called the company, we spoke at first to Matthew and then Harriet took over our 'case'. She was brilliant, in that she made us feel that she was always there for us, she always remembered our names, she was extremely accommodating when we were doing some things at the last minute. She was always calm, never impatient with us. Everything ran very smoothly and we felt that if anything went wrong, she would be a steady influence. We were also impressed with the gentlemen who brought Pat to the church. They were pleasant and efficient. Bob was the 'leader' and he was very amiable and very consoling. We would happily recommend your organisation to anyone.”

“We had read the reviews and decided that the ‘family’ service was what we wanted at a very sad time. Matthew was sensational he talked me through everything, we were a small funeral but I felt he cared no matter how small or expense. He arranged everything and did everything we asked no matter how odd it might have seemed. Nothing was too much. On the day the car was just stunning the driver was relaxed, calming amazing in London’s traffic. On arrival David was there to guide and assist us. He was so lovely and gentle I just wanted to hug him. It was the most beautiful day for my family. There was nothing we would of changed. Thank you, Mathew and David, from the bottom of my heart for making my Dads day so special.”

“Nothing was too much trouble for Harriet and Matthew, who held my hand through every stage of the process of creating the funeral service for my brother. The website page was easy to navigate and the celebrant, Jo Napthine, helped me to create a lovely visual tribute and a simple but moving service. Several people commented that it was touching and beautiful. I have also felt supported after the funeral itself. I highly recommend In Memory of Life.”

“As named next of kin I found the initial thought of planning a funeral completely overwhelming. I had no idea where or how to start. With no guidance from older family members and only being 38 years old myself, I felt completely out of my depth. I contacted a few funeral directors and one clearly stood out from all of them; In Memory of Life. From the very start, their kindness and compassion made an emotionally overwhelming situation that little bit more bearable. They virtually held my hand guiding me through the process, offering their advice and support when making such important decisions. Their level of professionalism is second to none and they accommodated my every request. Everything was explained to me so I understood each step of the process and their fee structure was very clear, there were no hidden extra costs. They were so thorough and managed everything on my behalf, down to the very last detail. When my anxiety would take over, they would call to reassure me and on the day of the funeral the funeral conductor brought such a sense of calm and steadied my nerves. The service you provided went above and beyond expectation and I will be forever grateful . Best wishes to you and the team.”
