“I would like to say a big thank you to Kate and the team for looking after Mum. They made us feel very blessed that she was in such good care. Kate was so Professional and understanding of what we were going through. Nothing was to much trouble. I called her on a number of occasions to ask questions, and she always made me feel like it was never any trouble. But the most important thing was the care and attention to detail they gave Mum. Little things that we didn’t think of. They made one of the hardest things we had to do at a very stressful time, so much easier. Thank you so much ….”

“My husband Mark Chelvan-Stanmore unexpectedly died on 13 March 2024. Our family is still in shock at his passing. Mark is/was loved so much. Meghan, Harriet and their In Memory of Life team surrounded us in a circle of support and guidance ensuring every step in preparation for Mark's funeral on 2 April was actioned with the highest standards of care and kindness - with Harriet being on hand even through the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Steve on the day of the cremation service guided the practicalities, drawing together the In Memory of Life service to perfection. Thank you from all our family, Dr S Chelvan, King's Cross, Islington 6 April 2024”

“I Can only say that I have received a wonderful support and service from In Memory Of Life throughout the whole process of organising my grandmothers funeral; they have been amazing every step of the way, and it was comforting knowing that we were in safe hands during our loss. “Our mother passed away unexpectedly on 9th February, and we were faced with finding a Funeral Director at short notice. With the help of the Internet, we were lucky to find ‘In Memory of Life Funeral Directors’ who came to our rescue. The kindness, support, guidance, and professionalism that we were shown by Harriet, Grant and her colleagues is something that we will never forget. They helped us to say ‘goodbye’ to our Mother in such a respectful and beautiful way that we will never be able to thank them enough. If you are reading this review, and feeling as we were, heartbroken and bewildered, please do not hesitate to put your trust in ‘In Memory of Life’ you will not be disappointed.”

“The short, but very dignified service prior to my mother’s cremation was a good way to say a final and very private goodbye to my mother. I was given input into the service, which I didn’t expect and Sarah the Vicar and the team of undertakers were kind and supportive.”

“Dear all, I just wanted to thank you all for making the difficult time relating to the cremation of our mum as stress free as possible, in particular for arranging for the coffin not to be visible - this was very much appreciated. We are so pleased to have been able to fulfil our mums wishes of donating her body and this is also down to you all making arrangements to make this process as stress free as possible Thank you”

“My partner of 43 years wanted his body to go for medical education purposes and our daughter and I wished to be present at his cremation which took place on 19 March at 9.15am at South Croydon crematorium. The whole event was carried out in a peaceful atmosphere and with great dignity. Ian was given great individual respect and all the staff were thoughtful and supportive. We are so pleased to have been with him on his final journey. I thought the whole proceedings were beautiful. Thank you for looking after Ian so well and helping both of us. “We could not recommend In Memory of Life enough. Everyone was so attentive and guided us through this very diffcult time with their thoughfulness and professionalism. They were so patient with all of our questions and requests throughout the whole process from start to finish, with exceptional attention to detail. No question was too small and no request was too great. Alex, Paul and the pallbearers were attentive and reassuring on the day and made sure the service went off without a hitch and were so helpful throughout. A special thank you to Megan, she was truly wonderful and caring. Our sincerest thanks to her as she made the whole process seamless from start to finish with her warmth and compassion. Always available and very kind. We will be forever grateful.”

“I am very pleased to recommend In Memory of Life. They managed all of the arrangements in a timely and sympathetic way. Although everything was done online, by email and telephone, I felt fully supported in every way. They took great care of everything. It was clear what our choices were and the costs were always transparent and never any pressure to spend more. In Memory of Life did the flowers for us as well and they were stunning. They were professional, warm and friendly. The whole family were pleased with how lovely and appropriate the funeral was.”

“Mum's 'Committal Service' was arranged & carried out on the day, with great respect for our wishes & with a professional yet caring approach that mean't every single detail was fulfilled. “My sisters and I attended our mother's committal service on Tuesday 5th March 2024 conducted by Mr Andrew Wilson. I had the opportunity to speak with Mr Wilson the week before and he was pleasant and efficient to deal with. My mother was non-religious and he tailored the service to honour her in a way she would have appreciated. We are very grateful for the care and respect with which the funeral conductor and the pall-bearers treated our mother, and provision of a hearse and coffin so that the formalities of a funeral were preserved. We are truly impressed and a little overwhelmed by the service she received, and we are very glad that we were able to facilitate her wish that her body be donated to science and that your institution treated her with such care and dignity. Our very best regards to everyone involved at the London Anatomy Office and the other relevant institutions in making such thoughtful arrangements for the families of donors.”

“I recently worked with In Memory of Life to arrange my step father’s funeral. When his health took a turn for the worse I started looking at funeral providers and was impressed by the very easy to use website and simple and transparent costing structure. When he died and I called to speak to them they were extremely kind and reassuring on the telephone. Having never organised a funeral before I knew nothing about what to do but Kate was extremely supportive and helped me every step of the way, letting me know which decisions I needed to make in which order so I knew exactly what needed doing and when. She made the whole process very easy and hassle free so I had more time to look after my grieving mum. On the day itself the whole team were fantastic: the funeral conductor, the drivers, the lovely celebrant Bob, all helped to provide real dignity and class to the occasion. I would highly recommend In Memory of Life.”

“In Memory of Life are understanding, thoughtful, helpful and caring, they made a very stressful time so much easier to deal with, they are efficient and helpful in every way. The pallbearers Dean and John were fantastic, calming and respectful, May the officiant was wonderful and helped put together the whole service which was so helpful.We really can't have asked for a better funeral directors as everything has been completed with care. Harriet was absolutely fantastic our point of contact for everything and nothing was to much trouble for her, Harriet helped the whole process become much easier to deal with at a time when we couldnt really think straight she thought of everything and arranged it with ease. We are forever grateful for how well In Memory of Life helped us through a hard time with such compassion, care and professionalism. Thank you to everyone involved.”

“From the onset Caitlin was exceptional, kind and sincere. The care and attention given was outstanding. The service and undertakers were made painstakingly, and it was truly memorable.
