“I first contacted In Memory of Life about a year ago when my mother entered her end of life phase, and was cared for by Harriet. Throughout the year Harriet was helpful in answering queries and guiding me through the portal. When my mum died, Harriet was again kind, supportive and helpful. A difficult and painful time was made easier to bear. The funeral service itself went smoothly and everything that was requested was put in place. A very positive experience with In Memory of Life.”

“Thank you In Memory of Life for all the care that you provided to us in making funeral arrangements for our dad. Kate was our main point of contact and was incredibly professional and empathetic throughout a very difficult process and time, further excacerbated by the time of year (December Christmas Holidays). All our questions were answered quickly, with patience and kindness. Though we had raised questions multiple times over multiple email chains, Kate was able to respond to each and every query and was really patient with us. The whatsapp messaging function that IMoL have was also really helpful. Responses were quick regardless of the channel it was raised in ( i.e email or whatsapp), and where IMoL liaised with third parties on our behalf they did so on the day itself or the next business day, Kate also kept us informed through out the process and we had daily updates. There was never a time where we felt a response was taking too long or it was too difficult to get a hold of IMoL. We also felt that In Memory of Life were able to understand some of our unique circumstances and accommodate for them appropriately too. The funeral day itself was organised well; our appointed funeral director was professional and compassionate. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We would highly recommend In Memory of Life for their services and competitive pricing.”

“Wow wow wow, Doesn’t sum up the amazing job and care they gave our loved one who we sadly lost, but the amazing care to the family was outstanding. No question was to small , the team are amazing Harriet and Rebecca were attentive throughout the whole process. Always checking in with the family. This made the team stand out as a family business, showing real care. Sadly I’ve used different funeral directors over the years, I wish I came across them before. There services included everything for an amazing price, everything from flowers to service sheets were extremely high quality. The care from Alex and his co worker on the day was again outstanding. Please don’t be afraid to use this independent service, we often feel that we need to use the generic high street funeral directors, comparing prices etc. you WON’T get a better price and an outstanding service from a caring family. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts the Powell Family.”

“Harriet and her team come highly recommended by us. Funerals are very sensitive for all parties involved and they went above and beyond to get us through such a difficult time, even when there was a slight hiccup, Harriet worked on her days off and promised that changes would be made and delivered on it, she was very concerned about my mum's feelings during the entire planning. Donna the funeral director was exceptional, she was on top of everything, updated me on the processes, stepped in for my mum when our guests were breaking the rules we put in place. She thought of the little details we were to heartbroken to think about. I cannot recommend this team enough. Thank you all for your help with giving my little sister a befitting burial. Oluchi”

“My experience with “In Memory of Life” after my mother passing was a good one, they were very attentive with dignity. I had never experienced being in a position to deal with a funeral for anyone – let alone a close loved one as my mum. I was guided by their team all the way from start to finish. “I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend In Memory of Life. They have been incredibly professional and empathetic throughout, answering questions quickly and fully, guiding us through various decisions and helping support us through this difficult time. Communication has been excellent throughout the various aspects of the legal process as well as funeral arrangements and on the day of the funeral itself. The Memorial Page was very useful in letting people know, as well as providing a tribute to our mother; the live stream of the funeral meant overseas family and those not able to attend in person could be a part of the Service. The flowers were beautiful and the Celebrant did a fantastic job in delivering a very personal tribute about Mum. In Memory of Life made a sad and difficult process so much easier to go through. Mum’s funeral was a lovely tribute to a much-loved family member and friend.”

“Memory Of Life added extreme stress on the family on the day of service due to lack of timing from drivers! We were then rushed from the start and at the crematorium! Driver was unprofessional during journey to crematorium, discussing how his wife had cheated on him! Unacceptable and unprofessional!!!!”

Hi Paul, Firstly I’m really sorry you feel so let down by our driver on the day. I completely understand how important this day is and that you only get one chance to say a final goodbye. I am sorry again that in this circumstance the timing did not occur as exactly planned and for the stress that this caused for you. When we spoke on the phone, I explained that the logistics for the funeral are specifically planned to allocate additional time between our estimated arrival with a family and the start of the service. In this case we were allowing 50 minutes for a 20 minute journey to the crematorium. Unfortunately on this morning the team experienced unforeseen traffic on their way to your house and, whilst we were still able to arrive at the crematorium on time, I understand the impact is that you felt rushed on what would have been an emotional morning. It was especially upsetting to hear the comments you shared from our driver which were not appropriate and certainly not aligned with our values as a family business. I apologise again for these comments and please know that we have spoken with the driver in question to ensure this does not happen again. We have built our business on a reputation of care, compassion and putting our families first always and I am glad you shared with me that you felt this from our team through the funeral arrangement stage at least. I'm sorry again that, in this instance, our hearse driver did not meet this standard and for the additional stress you experienced. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time. “Harriet and the team were wonderful throughout this difficult process. Thoughtful, patient, always available and considerate of last minute changes with empathy and kindness. I would definitely recommend them. The celebrant they connected us with, Bob, was absolutely excellent. Everyone commented what a wonderful and beautiful day it was. Brian, the lead conductor, was also wonderful, patient, and kind both on the day and during our chapel of rest visit. Absolutely commendable and wonderful service all around.”

“We In Memory Of Life to organise our good friends funeral. We cannot thank In Memory of Life enough for all their help and support in arranging the Funeral. Harriet, Kieran and John helped us alot to get everything arranged. We wanted our good friend Kevil to have a King's send off and they had helped to make it exactly that. I have been on the call with Harriet for a good week and a half and Harriet had never let us down, she was on the phone whenever we needed help even after office hours. I will be forever thankful to Harriet for helping us with this Funeral. Harriet was always calm and composed, it had felt like Harriet was with us the famil all the time. Any request we had made Harriet had taken it back done her research and got back to us with the quote and the items we had requested. They had and helped us with everything we had asked for. We had asked for 8 horses and they had the horses ready. The flowrist they had was wonderful all of the flowers and the decor was eligant and we did manage to give our good friend Kevil a King's send off. On the day of the funeral Kieran and John was always close by making sure everything is running smoothly and making sure we had everything we needed. We had made a few request on the day itself and they had somehow managed to get that sorted. This wouldn't have run smoothly without Kieran, John and the others staff as there were around 300 people whonhad showed up for the Funeral. I thank each and everyone from the bottom of my heart for helping us with this. Again Thank you so much I could not have done this without you Harriet. May God bless you abundantly and I hope all you dreams come true. You truly are a good soul. I can hands down recommend In Memory of Life to anyone who is looking for a support Funeral Service which you would like to run smoothly and without any stress or tension. I thank you again In Memory of Life. Loads of love Richard”

“I hadn’t heard of In Memory Of Life before, but I’m so pleased I took a leap of faith with them for my mother’s funeral. From the first phone call, I really felt looked after. Kate was extremely kind and sensitive and gave advice on every element - and even beyond the scope of her role, regarding physio support for my Dad. On the day itself, Donna and her team were the consummate professionals and took great care of my family from the departure from our house with the hearse to being dropped at the wake venue. The vehicles were immaculate and Donna was even wearing a fuchsia pink tie in honour of my Mum. I would highly recommend In Memory of Life and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Many thanks”

“I found 'In Memory of Life' online whilst browsing funeral directors in Barnet as we live outside the area. Their service is first class - very caring, compassionate and efficient. We were able to order the flowers and Order of Service through them as well. Kate kept us informed every step of the way and phoned the day before the funeral to run through everything. John, the conductor also phoned and introduced himself and again was very helpful and friendly on the day. I would definitely recommend 'In Memory of Life' to anyone arranging a funeral in the Greater London area. Wonderful service!”
