“In memory of life we’re absolutely brilliant from start to finish, from the first enquiry I had a name and face, Hillary, of the person I would be dealing with, her support and advice were absolutely invaluable and made the whole process so much easier than I thought it would be, the team involved in the funeral itself were professional and considerate and a number of mourners commented on how excellent they were. I cannot imagine how anything could have been done any better and I am so grateful to Hillary and her team for the way they guided and supported me throughout the whole process, I would happily recommend them to anyone in the unfortunate position of having to arrange a funeral.”

“From the moment I got into contact with the team they provided an excellent service. Everyone I spoke to were so friendly and welcoming. I would like to say the biggest thanks to Harriet and John. Harriet from the beginning and throughout the whole planning has been so helpful and even when I thought my questions were silly was there to answer. John on the day I could not have asked for it to go any other way. So again thanks to the team at In Memory Of Life for helping me to provide a first class send off for Andrew.”

“Superb from our first contact with Matthew. Emma guided us through this difficult period with enormous kindness, patience and empathy. She helped plan every aspect of the service enabling us to say a wonderful goodbye to our Mum. Every member of the team we worked with provided excellent service. We had initial concerns that we would find it difficult without the benefit of an appointment with conventional funeral directors. We feel by using Memory of Life we had a far superior service. Our sincere thanks go to Emma, Matthew, Harriet and Martin for such an excellent service.”

“Matt and his team and amazing genuinely out of this world. Went above and beyond for what can only be described as the most heart breaking time of my life. I’d have been lost without Matt and his help and advice! May was also amazing who took the service. From start to finish they were great and the personal service meant the world to us. “What a positive experience at a distressing time. In Memory Of Life were professional, empathetic, and friendly throughout, even calling just to see how you’re getting on. They kept me fully abreast of what was happening with frequent phone calls and emails, and were really helpful with regard to the inevitable paperwork involved. I really can’t recommend them highly enough.”

“What a wonderful service we received!!! So very personal and couldn't of asked for more!! Harriet was lovely and sorted everything so we didn't have to worry!! The pull bearers were amazing too and made us feel like they love my dad as much as us!! Taking time to look at a photo that was placed on his coffin! As a family we couldn't reccomend Harriet and her team enough !! They made the hardest experience so much easier for us,thank you once again Harriet”

“There's so much to say about why we love Mathew, Harriet, Luke, Bryan and the whole team at In Memory of Life. First, they were interested in us and our dad (who had died very suddenly): they spent time getting to know us and listened to the fact that we wanted to do his funeral in a way that worked for us. Throughout the whole process, they were constantly available - holding our hand through the parts we didn't understand or were painful. The video call at the beginning was very helpful and the What's App group made it feel like we were one big team. We did the cremation 'our way' - a willow coffin; we held the service ourselves with a little crab apple tree in the room; family members carried the coffin in; we had live music and made a double booking to give us ample time, and best of all we cycled the coffin to the crematorium rather than using a car. All together we created a wonderfully personal and moving experience that helped us all say goodbye. Thank you to The In Memory of Life team for helping us do it exactly as we wanted. A Life ending is very hard - and saying goodbye is so important. It was lovely we could do it in a way that meant so much to us all.”

Cycling his coffin to the crematorium instead of using a car was a first for us however it was perfect and you have now paved the way for other families to be able to do the same. “From the initial call through to the end of my Mums service, this company have been nothing short of excellent. I have felt listened to and supported every step of the way. Nothing has been too much trouble and I have received guidance ensuring I didn’t have to worry about the next step. I dealt with Nick at the start of my journey, he reassured me and answered all questions. Nick also found the perfect location for my Mum to start her journey on the day of her funeral. Harriet was my go to from the time my Mum was taken into their care and she was equally fantastic. Reassuring, capable and supportive, I couldn’t have asked for more. On the day of the funeral, I was handed over to John, our conductor who was kind, gentle, reassuring and respectful. He made sure my Mums final journey went according to plan but actually went above and beyond and made it the most precious memory. I shall never forget the professional and gracious experience I have had with ‘in memory of life’ and I wholeheartedly recommend them. I truly thank the team from the bottom of my heart.”

“Very helpful, responses were prompt and attention to detail during the service at the Crematorium. Very understanding and showed great empathy. I would highly recommend them especially if it is the first time you are organising a funeral. Although I did not use all their services, they still give me advice on how to go about sourcing for flowers and order of service.”

“I decided to use Memory of Life on the strength of their positive reviews. Having now entrusted MoL with my father's funeral I can safely say that those positive reviews are well justified. From my initial contact with Matthew through to the funeral service itself I've experienced a level of service which was always efficient, courteous and considerate. My main contact was Megan who was an absolute joy to work with. The service delivered on the day went so smoothly that at least 2 people stated that they would like to use the company to organise their funeral. They were particularly impressed with the service delivered by Rebecca, the Celebrant. I strongly recommend this company and you can confidently entrust them with your loved ones funeral arrangements.”

I have lost my mum… it was so painful but I must say the ‘In memory of life’ team were absolutely amazning all the way through the process. They dealt with various matters with consideration, empathy and they were always there for any further assistance. “The whole process of a very emotional experience with the very sad loss of my mum. Made that little easier having memory of life guiding us every step of the way especially Megan was our point of contact from start to finish her compassion she gave us was amazing we will forever be grateful for making our mums day very special , so pleased we had these guys on board definitely be recommending them in the future. 😇”
