“Thank you to Harriet for being so kind, patient and calm. You helped us through a difficult time and we are so grateful for all your support and comfort. It really made a difference to us. Harriet was always quick to respond to any query we had and we really appreciated her experience and knowledge. A big thank you also to John, our funeral conductor, who took control on the day with great respect and kindeness.”

“I had initial doubts about using In Memory of Life funeral directors, as I had never heard of them before. However, after doing some online research and trusting my gut, I can confidently say that choosing them was the best decision we could have made. They are a family-run business, and it’s clear that they are perfectly suited for the important work they do. It takes a very specific skill set to be in this line of work, as you are constantly dealing with people who have experienced loss. As a family, we felt comforted and truly listened to. They took full charge and control of every element of the arrangements, allowing us to focus on grieving and supporting one another. They went above and beyond for us—Harriet, in particular, was a superhero! Her calming voice and comforting manner made all the difference during such a difficult time. We are so grateful for everything they did and will undoubtedly contact them if ever we are in need of these services. Their partners at the Chapel of rest lead by John gave that perosnal care and characterised the higest level of profesionalism and dignity required in these delicate situations. Thank you will never be sufficient for all that you have done but please know that your kindness has left an indelibale mark on all our hearts.”

“From my very first interaction with in memory of life it was amazing and I knew straight away this was the funeral company i wanted to go with! They wasn’t regimented like all the other companies I had rung previously to them. They was empathetic and compassionate . Harriet has been beyond amazing! From late night messages and stupid questions nothing was too much for us to ask! Every little detail was done with ease and they made a terrible time for us seem just that little more bearable! Even with Harriet being on annual leave she was still answering my question! Harriet and team you have been beyond amazing and I cannot recommend you all enough. So if your looking for a funeral company that cares please use in memory of life! I’ll definitely be passing your number out to everyone I know and my family and I will be ringing shortly to ensure we have our pre paid funeral plans with you too! Thank you again in memory of life you made my nans last journey a pleasant one and she would be smiling down on us knowing we done her proud and we owe that to you. They helped us plan a fitting farewell to our much loved family member from a sparkling magenta coffin to extra pink roses on the day of the funeral. I was dreading organising a funeral for my mum, but Kate made the process as easy as possible, everybody was very impressed with how well organised everything was and how smoothly everything went on the day. “I am 100% satisfied with In Memory Life Service. It was my first time with them and an excellent experience. I found them through an Internet search as a good friend of mine passed away recently at the beginning of July. Her Family needed help as they did not have any idea on how to deal with a Funeral and to be honest neither did I. After finding other people's services and seeing they were only interested in how much the Family would spend, I tried the IMOL Web site. Everything was there, so I followed step-by-step directions until the family chose what they could afford, we submitted the request that Saturday and received a call from them, On Monday we talked to Harriet by video call. She went through all the details respectfully, patiently and she guided us through the preparation for the funeral. We felt supported and guided before and after the ceremony. I will recommend their services without hesitation to any other people who suffer the loss of a loved one. Now I know that there is so much involved when this happens so I appreciate all their help and commitment to support the family recently.”

“The complete ceremony was highly dignified. Right from our arrival at the venue, we were thoroughly briefed stepwise regarding the whole process. Every person who helped on the day was very courteous and patiently replied to our concerns. It was truly very admirable on behalf of Memory of Life when their personnel offered to give a brief but very inspiring speech. I know my mum would have been so happy for all the honour that she was given and that too by people she never met. It is very gratifying to know such organisations exist around us and the day could not have been better for my mum and us even though it was a mix of joy and sadness, recalling the happy memories in the midst of knowing that we will not be able to see her physically amongst us for the rest of our lives. We were even comforted and bid a polite goodbye towards the end of the ceremony. To know that selfless people like these are still around us is a big comfort in itself.”

“We had already previously started preparing a funeral plan for my father following my father diagnosis of Dementia, so we thought we were all prepared. Upon my fathers death we contacted them to start the process. However they lied to us about the availability of the cemetery. they were trying to tell us that they cenetrery would only be available during the first week of September. My father passed away on the 6th July. As you can imagine we were shocked that a funeral director would lied to us at such a difficult time. As a family, we were going through a horrible process and now were left tot ry to organise everything from the beginning. We contacted In loving memory of life and they accommodated all our needs and requests with the care, empathy and guidance which we all would require at this sad time. Harriett was impeccable from the first phone call and through to the day of the funeral. She even called me the following day to check on me and my family. i couldn't ask for anything more at such a sad time and i would thoroughly recommend their service to all. Carla”

“I cannot praise In Memory Of Life enough. Having never arranged a funeral before I could not have done it without the help of Kate who was amazing, nothing was too much trouble and she went above and beyond anything I expected. John the conductor was also very friendly and helpful and made sure everything on the day ran smoothly. Ruth the celebrant listened to all our stories about our brother and delivered a very moving personal tribute which many people commented on. The whole team made the service perfect. I cannot thank you all enough and would not hesitate to recommend Memory Of Life. Sheila Wridgway.”
