“The positives were that the RICS Homebuyer Survey organised by iMyHome was both quickly organised and competitively priced. The negatives were that I found the survey to be lacking in both depth and quality. Most of the findings were obvious and vague and nothing was explored in any great detail. I would consider alternatives before using iMyHome again.”

The RICS HomeBuyer Report is an industry standard when it comes to surveys, our surveyors follow the strenuous guidelines that are issued to them buy the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and will always aim to explain any areas of concern in as much detail as we can. We do also offer the more detailed RICS Building Survey, this allows our surveyor to create a more bespoke report and thus allows them to delve deeper into areas of concern, rather than being limited by the templated design of the RICS HomeBuyer Report. “Arranging the survey was very simple online. The price, although not quite the cheapest, was competitive and (unlike the cheaper surveys) I got a swift response. The surveyor contacted me to let me know when the survey would take place and then phoned me immediately after the survey to let me know the main findings and answer the various questions that I had. The only issue was that since I had arranged everything over the phone, I didn’t have an account login and so couldn’t access my documents online. Fortunately, though, the surveyor emailed me copies of the documents and so there was no problem. On the whole I was very happy with the experience, but have deducted one star to reflect the fact that there were cheaper options out there and also the fact that there was no clear way for me to set up an online account.”

“Nothing but praise for the service. We needed a quick turnaround for our survey and after a few messages and a phone call the survey was booked and paid for. We had the survey back within the week. We should have just used iMyHome from the off as it would have saved us a load of time researching potential suppliers and seeking quotes.”

“Great experience, efficient and got the best price. The home buyers survey I got done paid for itself, spent £400 to get it done, and I managed to get that £400 knocked off the price of the property purchase on the basis of some wall cracking that needed addressing identified in the survey”

“The process was made so easy, from making the initial enquiry, following up with a telephone call and then just sitting back and waiting for the results. The Survey was under taken quickly and professionally and delivered the information we needed to know. The whole process was undertaken with minimal fuss and we were kept informed throughout.”
