I can't remember the name of the adviser. I have a note about it in my records. She offered helpful and meaningful information in response to my questions. It's likely that I'll want to contact her again within the next twelve months for some further advice. Richard Hodgkiss 01242 517589

My contact with IAS was due to the apparent complexity of the U.K. visa process. My enquiry was dealt with promptly and courteously and the skype cal proved very helpful. After such good service and advice I decided to progress the application myself using the new on line tool. I recommend IAS to anyone going through the Visa application process. Brett Smythe

The service we received from Danielle Blake at IAS was excellent. She clarified both the immigration law and the process which we had to go through to a most excellent degree which resulted in a very successful and surprisingly quick processing of the immigration application considering the various face-melting governmental bureaucratic stodgemeisters who would have to be engaged with at various times during the processing of the immigration application. The £150 cost for the 1-2 hour or so consultancy was both adequate and without doubt some of the best money I have ever spent. This little investment saved us all a lot of trouble, time and wasted money without doubt. Though there are additional charges levied by IAS for additional services, included within this fee nonetheless we did get some great ongoing support, answers to quick questions, pointers and an overall top level check that all sections of the application were covered (a full review is understandably an extra cost). Therefore we felt that the overall service provided by IAS was exceedingly good value for money. But please note that we did invest a lot of time ourselves in collecting all the information, presenting it in the correct places in the correct way and following Danielles' advice to the letter in order for us to get the best from our time with IAS I would thoroughly recommend IAS to anyone who is thinking of negotiating the UK immigration processes without hesitation and I would recommend still further engaging their services before doing anything. I would similarly recommend never ever ever engaging the UK government immigration advice so called "service" via the website and especially by telephone no matter how desperate you may feel. Their advice was vague, inaccurate, often blatantly and flatly wrong, very expensive for the no-help you got from it and specific case advice aside they would or could not even answer simple questions regarding their own processes!! Had we acted on any of what little we were told by the government immigration advice the immigration application would have been a costly disaster Thank you very much IAS and a special thanks to Danielle Blake

The knowledge of my consultant is astounding. She professionally extracted what our outcomes of the consultation was and reassured us of what we needed to do at the end. However, Skype calls kept breaking up, and unfortunately it was the only way to communicate with multiple people as our mobile phones weren't too good at picking up multiple peoples' voices. I wish that there was a way to send some minor documents for the consultant to review before the call. Instead she had asked to drop the call and for us to e-mail the related documents over half-way through our consultation. It has been two weeks since the consultation, and I am severely disappointed with the fact that there was no follow-up e-mail from the consultant with the session after this was explicitly mentioned as part of the package. Otherwise I would have rated the service with 5 stars.

We really liked the service prior to our Skype appointment, the contact person was very courteous. The lawyer we spoke to on Skype was knowledgeable and seemed to be very experienced. However, we felt that the lawyer was too quick to respond, was not patient with us, even laughed at a few of our questions, seemed annoyed and irritated as if wanting to end the appointment immediately. Also advised us erroneously about European Family Permit vs Spouse Visa for my husband and I, him being from Northern Ireland. We did not feel comfortable proceeding. On the bright side, we are very pleased with the law firm we decided to work with, the service is very thorough, personable, patient, and found out for us that our application should be for a Spouse Visa. Had we gone with the previous advice of applying for a European Family Permit (not applicable) our application would have been rejected.
