“Rene Tabe was an immense help in assisting me with the purchase of my Condo in Lagos, Portugal. With Rene’s professional and customer oriented assistance I was able to understand and navigate the process to negotiate a contract with the developer, comply with all legal and tax reporting requirements, and sell the condo for a comfortable profit once it was completed. Rene’s customer service support was of the highest quality throughout the process. His reliability and experience is a key factor in my success with purchasing and selling the condo. I was able to communicate with Rene whenever coordination was required through live chat, calls and email during the process. If given the opportunity I would definitely use Rene again for my next condo purchase in Portugal.”

“misleading and hypocrite attitude from owners and agents together. No response and when one was given it was not addressing our needs. I would be cautious in dealing with these people.”

“That was the worst experience ever! I will always be afraid to rent villa going forward. This summer we rented vacation villa in Portugal, Algarve, village: Loulle. Real cheaters! After two weeks since we left villa, they sent Photos that we demaged some furniture and outdoor tiles?! The purpose of that was to steal our 1500 EUR of deposit. We are going to involve lawyer to get the money back, but it will take time. Deposit its just hidden part of the price. Stay away from Ideal Home Rentals and Never pay any deposit ! BTW initally they wanted to get deposit 2 months before our arrival ! Its clear that its cash flow creation!”

“We started our contact with idealhomes with a first meeting with Catalin. It all went very quick and only after two month or so, René managed to sell our familyhome. With his “magic” He succeeded in raising the offer from the potential buyers with 30.000€. So yes, I would recommend!”

“We was thinking about to sell our property. I contact Ideal Homes. A guy Catalin called me and decide a meeting by the property on a friday at 11 he didnt show up so I send a msg he told me he run out of gas and it was raining so he couldnt walk to the petrolstation after he got fuel it didnt start. We decided same time on the saturday instead same thing he contacted me and said that his motorbike didnt start and he only have a motorbike. This feels very unprofessional, real estate without a car???? I contact some other real estate agency.”

“Oh god, stay away from this company. They promised the world when it came to how much they could rent out the property for but in reality it was empty most of the year. They lied so they could sell us the house.”

“Ideal homes Rental gave us very bad service: they did not show up alt all after we called there was an electrical problem in the apartment! they then refused to refund our deposit foor some electrical problem that they blamed us for causing it by overflowing a cooking pot! On the website of the cooking furniture comapny overflowing of a cooking pot it is clearly shown this would not cause any damage! so they wrongfully blame us for any damage”

“John Malpas was absolutely amazing when we used his services to purchase our home in this city. This wasn't my first time purchasing a home, but it was my first time being overwhelmed with the follow up and the attention to detail. He kept us updated throughout the whole process, he explained everything thoroughly, and he always asked if he could do more. Can't ask for better service from a real estate agent. “Buying real estate in a foreign country is scary, but the staff at Ideal Homes made it a lot less so, by finding me a truly spectacular condo, working with the vendor and me to close and complete the deal, and together with their partners, finding me a mortgage, a solicitor and a tax consultant to make navigating the EU bureaucracy easy, when it could so easily have been a nightmare of pitfalls. Now they're busy managing rentals on the unit with frequent reports on bookings and payments received and the occasional remedial work that needs to be done, and never taking more than a day to reply to any questions I ask them. Happy!”

“We went for 5 days to Vilamoura to buy an apartment. Not knowing anybody, we selected some agencies via internet and Telefone conversations. Not anyone personally knowing, we reacted on verbal conversations and already there, we found, that Dorin Zander of Ideal Homes realised what we wanted and what program we expected. All estate agencies very helpful and nice, but when we met John Malpas we certainly felt to get the right support and confidence. Not buying for any price was important, no, confidence and relationship between buyer and agency (personal) with trust ,makes the deal. Closing the deal was the peak.
