Dear Mr B We are very sorry that your records contained an incorrect detail. We confirm this was only on one part of our system and it was amended immediately that you brought it to our attention. Also, we can assure you that it never had any impact on the validity of your insurance policy. Thank you for your feedback. Insurers consider several factors when calculating the renewal price. Indexation, an adverse claims history and the customer making a claim within the last 12 months will usually drive an increase, but there are other, more subjective factors as well. These include insurers’ views on the various risks associated with the insurance they are providing, such as changes in their overall claims experience for a given property type or a review of the severity of natural disasters occurring in a given postcode. Finally, we would like to confirm that renewals are not mandatory and we contact our customers in good time with an offer of price for the coming 12 months. This gives them the opportunity to consider our terms and to shop around if they feel we are not offering value for money.

I was unable to complete -oline . Both my cards failed although (out of hours ? ) The same card was accepted next morning without question and the receptionist was very efficient and customer friendly..

Happy with the cover. Very happy with the support with a call back first thing in the morning. I was in a hurry, just back in the country and so not able to shop around and so just paid without questioning the quote but now realise that I am paying £30 more (about +11%) than last year and had I had more time I would have shopped around as this seems rather unfair. I doubt that they will get my business next year but accept that it's also my fault here.

Where you have received a like for like quote with comparable cover we are able to refer cases to your insurers, to see if they are willing to reduce their cost. Please note all of our policies do have a 14 day cooling off period as standard, which allows you to cancel the policy and any payment plan.

I had to negotiate my price as it had increased since last year which seemed rather unfair as I had never claimed and repeat customers should be rewarded. The admin fee is an unnecessary fee if it is just a rollover policy.

Administration fees are applied to help produce and maintain a customer’s insurance documentation and transaction costs for payments, telephone costs etc. We have a freephone telephone number that our customers can use to call us and we do not charge customers for postal copies of their documents. Also all of our policies are individually reviewed by a customer advisor at the inception of the policy and at renewal, to check the details and the panel of insurers available to us to make sure the policy is correct for the individual. All of our charges are brought to the customer’s attention at the point of sale, and again if the customer is discussing any changes. They are outlined in writing in our Terms of Business. This transparency allows customers to make an informed decision at the outset based on their likelihood of making any alterations during the year. We aim to deliver very competitive premiums and are transparent with our charges, which we make as simple and clear as possible to customers. Our previous market research has indicated that our administration fee is in line with what other companies in the market are charging.

Thank you for your feedback. We offer products from a limited number of selected insurers, we do not search the whole of the market and we declare this to all of our customers. It would be very unusual for any broker to be able to search the whole of the market when arranging insurance. For example at i4me we have our own specialist schemes with insurers. These are bespoke offerings to i4me and not available for other brokers, so other brokers would not be able to quote what we are offering.

Prompt reminder about my insurance together with full breakdown and Policy. Compared OK with the higher end quotes from the competitive/comparison websites to the point where it was not worth switching

Very easy and straightforward system and at a competitive price. I put the policy on risk and paid for it and 3 days later I have still yet to receive confirmation of my policy so was getting anxious that it was a fake site - and only this request for feedback has reassured me that i am insured.

Offers a fairly comprehensive holiday home insurance cover. However, the administration fee was very high.

Reluctant to award more stars when having only just joined - I'll do it again when/if I have a claim! Guy on the phone very helpful, very good price, useful website. Any downside? Don't like paying via PayPal.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We advise we have various ways to pay which includes card, bacs, cheque or via direct debit. Please note that we do not use PayPal for any of our transactions.

Thanks for your service. I insure five houses each year and made my first enquiry with you 2016. I have found your staff the most efficient of all the companies I contact. That which has taken upto an hour elsewhere has been concluded with your staff in fifteen minutes. Excellent.
