“This a brilliant recorder”

“Rapid easy setup. Good menu epg and online menus. The transition between the menus with images swooping is a bit slow. All in a good package after 2 weeks of use.”

“Recorded programes disapeard from memory for several hours. Tried switching off and on, later re-appeared. Wow. Internet site poorly referenced for support on model of box. Internet site for latest firmware does not exist. Contacted Humax for latest firmware, will try downloading again. Connected to internet on broadband-either box or internet site kept stopping playback with error message. No idea what happening. To early to give indepth review, only had 1 week. But it does keep a clear digital recording like a dvd with the convienence of a video player. I like so far.”

“Does everything I want, good design. Only thing I would have liked would it to have would be a scart lead so that I could connect my tv transmitter / sender so I could send signal to bedroom. Have solved the problem.”

“bought this as an upgrade, from an 1800T, I find it a bit more fiddley, but I will get to grips with it in time, like the internet access to youtube,bbciplayer,demand5, etc, found it very easy to install. would recommend!.”

“Already have a Humax recorder for some years without any problems whatsoever. So that alone makes me a big fan of Humax/products. Now bought FVP-4000TGB Recorder for my bedroom. What a product:- WiFi, 4 channel recorder, and skip back facility to watch programmes one has missed. Absolutely knockout product. Will now update Humax box in lounge once my wife and I have watched some of our recordings.”

“Very easy to set up and produces and clear and vibrant TV picture on HMDI connection. Haven't explored all features yet but it is clearly an advance on my previous HDR-FOX T2.”

“Upon phoning, I was asked the pertinent questions and my 'parts' enquiry was dealt with promptly. A new remote was quickly despatched and received and I was delighted with the product. Well done, Humax.”
