“Course broken down into sections that you can easily go through; also get send nudges nearer the end of your course with if you have not completed within the time period which is advised pre-purchase”

“Found the course very straight forward, found I did feel I needed to rush when doing the final test and messed up a couple of questions and had time to spare. So think if I did it again would slow down and review some of the questions”

Thank you Lorraine. Unfortunately the body that approved that course does require a time limit to be set on it. But like yourself, most people find it is plenty of time to complete the assessment.

“The process of booking courses was straightforward. The completion of the courses are generally self paced so easy to fit in around other commitments. The courses I completed were very informative and once completed I was contacted really quickly with updates on the certification award process as well as a personal congratulations from HSQE Staff which I thought was a nice gesture. This is the second course I have completed and received my certification from the first one in a timely manner. All in all a great way to learn.”

“I chose HSQE for my selected course for a number of reasons. The course information offered was detailed and easy to understand, setting clear expectations as to what was covered and, what would be required from me in order to complete the course, the assessment and the end project. I could complete the modules at a time to suit me and had more than enough time to do so (190 days!) The presentation of the module content was very good. This was a great, flexible and hugely convenient way in which to take this course - which was more important to me and my employer than cost, (which was actually about a quarter of the price of a 3-day classroom version!) Win win!!”

“I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed the course. From my experience, online courses can be a real pain but your one was so much better. Informative and easy to follow. I also appreciated the two 'mock' exams, which made sure I was on the right track and gave me more confidence to try the final exam. I would thoroughly recommend your courses!”

“The courses were... OK. Most of them felt a bit cobbled together from presentations that were designed to be taught in person, which meant there were scattered blank slides; this was a bit disconcerting to start with. The content was all fine, really - in some places I felt it didn't go into enough depth or explanation but in general it was digestible. The biggest gripe I had, which really distracted me, was the generally poor spelling and grammar. It wasn't just one or two errors, either - there were typos and issues throughout the presentations. The whole lot was crying out for a proof-reader really. I know some people don't care about this sort of thing but for a professional service I thought it was quite poor. I would also really have liked a proper course document to download to keep alongside the notes I took, so I could go back and review the content - not just during the course, but afterwards as reference material. Overall though, it got through the material, and was a convenient way of engaging with the topics in this covid year. I'm not sure I'd be keen on doing much more online training though; physical books and guides (albeit with online assessments) are far easier to refer to, cross reference, make notes on and review.”

Thank you for your feedback. Rest assured that the courses have been written especially for elearning and they have been thoroughly proof checked and assured by one, or more, external organisations, so there should not be any spelling errors in them. If you could let your tutor know where you think they are, we will get them checked out again. There should also not be any blank pages in the course. When that occurs, it is typically because (1) a weak internet connection meaning the pages do not download fully, or (2) using Internet Explorer (which is no longer supported by Microsoft) to view the course. But again, if you could let your tutor know where you encountered that, and what web browser you were using, we will get that checked out as well.
