“The material of the course has been built up very well. It wasn't as dry and chewy as I expected. Also, it helped a lot that I could do it over such a period and I could allocate the time for each module myself.”

“I found a good selection of courses available, including exactly what I wanted. The material was detailed and explained clearly and the course format was easy to follow. Best of all the multiple-choice assessments at the end made me genuinely think about the answer - I have found in other online courses that there is often one serious answer and 3 joke answers so one doesn't necessarily have to be too sure of the answer because the choice to make is clear. Many thanks. I am better equipped for my job hunting now.”

“Overall the content of the course was good. I learnt about various new pieces of training such as asbestos and electrical safety but it could have been more engaging with video content within the slideshows. I also completed the IOSH module last but it is not clear to do so in this order. The IOSH section also repeated a lot of content already covered. During the final module quiz, I was unable to see what the correct answers wore for my incorrectly answered questions. I the templates within the IOSH module are templates that could not be edited so it was difficult to use these templates with limited text space.”

Thank you for your feedback Jordan, it is appreciated. It's worth pointing out that the IOSH managing safely course is a stand-alone course and that we offer the short courses as a free bonus. As such, the short courses go into more detail than what is covered in the IOSH course alone. They can be taken in any order you like and the free short courses do not count towards the final assessment for the IOSH managing safely course. Although you do get awarded a certificate for each short course that you complete. It's also worth mentioning that the reason limited text space is provided in the project is to encourage the student to record just what is important, rather than adding much more detail that can obscure the hazards and risks being described. I hope that helps to explain the setup that we use a bit better.
