“We have been customers of H.R. Higgens since the early 1970s, first in person at the shop, more recently online. There is a wonderful and temptatious selection of both coffee and tea from which to choose. We seem to return to some favourites like AA Chagga coffee but also love to try new ones. It is not the cheapest coffee or tea available, but the quality and choice are above so much else that is available. The service is always fast and reliable.”

“Quite simply, fantastic coffee. Yes you can pay £4 at the supermarket if you want and it's decent, it's fine, it's okay. It might be on offer at £3 even. But now and again you might want to taste the real thing and then it's worth having a pack or 3, or 6 of Higgins coffee on hand, even if only to remind yourself of what 5* living is.”

“Service over very many years has always been prompt and accurate. The coffee has always been delicious.. Our preferred coffee has always been Malabar monsooned but having recently discovered 1942 Blend there is a rival for our affections. Wonderful teas too though sadly we have to source our favourite Genmaicha from elsewhere.”

“Have been a Blue Lady’s fan for more than 30 years. It is a marvelous tea good for any occasions. Also good as a gift to anyone, both those who love tea and those who do not. Even the latter come to like tea by tasting the first cup of Blue Lady. Hoping that H.R. Higgins maintains its flavor unchanged.”
