“We have been using 1942 Blend for the last month, after years of Creole Blend. We wanted a change but also a bean that would leave less oil in the bean-to-cup grinder. We are enjoying the 1942 Blend, which seems to be less deeply roasted than Creole and has a delicate, slightly sour finish, like Australian coffee making and is reminiscent of the coffee at Workshop in London. It is another outstanding Higgins coffee.”

“The Formosa black tea is excellent. The service from this shop is first class and they are the most honest down to earth people I have dealt with. Living on the Isle of Lewis I felt rather grand in my own little patch, sipping tea and watching the deer. Thank you.”

“Service and speed of delivery very good. Only problem I had was the filters advertised on the same page weren’t the filters for the Chemex, being a non coffee drinker myself and this was for a present I purchased the wrong ones. Maybe be good if filters needed for said jug we’re advertised beside machine. Other than that very pleased with purchase which was much appreciated by my son on his birthday.”

“Over the last forty odd years we have never been able to find better coffee. We shared orders with a friend at the beginning, then bought from the shop, but now have deliveries. Always brilliant consistent quality and good a choice. Cannot ask for a better service.”
