“I am pleased to say that in a world that was taken over by modern, 'third-wave' speciality coffee, HR Higgins is an established coffee merchant that stands its grand. It has style, it has heritage, it has kick. Its coffee is great. It can compete with modern roasteries. Yes, it's a tad expensive but it's a welcome addition to the coffee scene, in my opinion. “It was sort of fine but 2 problems… one I had to chase to find out when it would be delivered as on order I was not told and the 2nd problem was that I ordered two gifts and they arrived wrapped (as ordered) but I was unable to ascertain without unwrapping one which gift was which. There was no external way of telling and they were the same size. Would have been useful to somehow have been told and irritating to pay for gift wrapping when I had to unwrap one gift to find out what it was.”
