Not received any information regarding delivery and can't see anywhere on the website how we can track our delivery. I will be phoning tomorrow to find out where our delivery is.

Placed an order for delivery, only received a call when an email was sent requesting an update on delivery date, 7 days after placing the order. Given a delivery date only to receive a call on the afternoon of the promised date saying the driver would not make it and it would now be the following day. Goods duly arrived whilst I was out, two out of four ply sheets are damaged, really poor customer service.

It is unfortunate that I am being asked to give a review when I’ve not even received my goods yet it was promised two days ago was not delivered when I made enquiries. I told it was gonna be delivered two days later and I still haven’t got my order.

I purchased some timber from our local Howarth Timber (Cheadle) online, they had only 3 meters of that particular timber which they delivered after 3 days. I paid £20 for a local delivery (1 mile). I contacted them and ask for additional 6 meters, but since they didn't have that in stock they asked me to contact Sale branch which is again not so far from us and they should be able to send them with no additional delivery charge, but they insist that I had to pay another £30 for the remaining timbers. I couldn't pay £50 delivery charge for a £25 order, so I didn't go ahead with the remaining timbers and tried to source them from somewhere else. By the way the Cheadle branch staff are very good, helpful and polite, but not all branches. I never buy something like this from Howarth for sure.

Plasterboards delivered earlier than planned. Delivery driver was fantastic and very helpful, however the manager at the Burnley branch was extremely rude and aggressive on the phone to the driver so much so I asked the driver if I could talk to him. He agreed and I told the manager that the language and the manner in which he spoke to his driver was unacceptable. The response was arrogance and aggressive to which my response was - I think you need to calm down and respect people pal. I then hung up. On inspection of the plasterboards two were not in good condition as two corners on each board was cracked at approximately 200mm inwards. This didn’t affect the job but when you purchase products you don’t expect this much damage. So overall a poor quality product and experience. I would like to add that the driver Rodney/Ronnie was very helpful and polite. In all fairness I should receive a partial refund.

I ordered online and gave 5 days for delivery It did not arrive on the specified day I left telephone messages and emails that evening No one replied the following morning I then chased up the local branch who looked at the order and said it should have been on the said date They then said it would be delivered the day after in the morning So at 1pm the day after the expected delivery day I chased up again and eventually the order was delivered This resulted in costs to myself standing down a contractor who needed the good to lay a floor, which has resulted in additional costs of £150 to myself

Called to check stock and was told all… Called to check stock and was told all in stock so went ahead and ordered over £2000 worth of doors. 4 days went by and no sign of tracking so called, to be told not in stock for 6 weeks. Escuse was they can only tell you the stock level their supplier tells them, yet I literally called to check the stock level before I ordered and at no point did they contact me to tell me they werent actually in stock after all.

Most awful experience with the kitchens department. Items were delayed, damaged, missing, mis-measured. Led to many unforeseen additional costs. Absolutely poor service within the kitchen supply department. No ownership. Very disappointed in the service which is a shame as the product quality is great. I would avoid at all cost. Please don't buy kitchens from their Cheadle Hulme branch. Save yourself the pain.

We bought over £800 decking board and timber recently. Have to say their delivery is pretty good, the delivery man even helped me putting them into the garage, hence the one star giving. The quality of timber is shockingly bad, over half of timber is warping, two of them having huge crack which is totally unusable. Also the seller isnt honst to the decking spec, they advertise their decking board is 32mm thick and 125mm wide, looks really high spec right!?!?! The actual thickness is only 25mm which is the same to the cheap decking board from wicks. Making it worse, the width is 115mm instead of 125! I bought 10% spare for my project in case of mistakes or waste, I end up to buy 2 more decking board from my local wicks. In short, very good experience at the begining. But the quality of product is so bad. If you want to get your job done, look at other places. Nowhere can be worse than this.

I cancelled this order on the previously arranged delivery day as the plasterboard had apparently become unavailable. I received a phone call from a guy called Nick asking if I would accept square edge plasterboard instead of the ordered tapered edge. I declined the offer as square edge was not fit for purpose, and requested that taper edge be delivered. Later that same morning Nick phoned again and informed me that the roller shutter doors had now broken down on the plasterboard storage building, and therefore it was inaccessible. (assumably the square edge is stored in a separate building?). I then cancelled the order and expressed my disappointment with the 'service'.

I cancelled this order on the supposed day of delivery as it was to be delivered along with 5 sheets of plasterboard. The plasterboard had apparently become unavailable on the previously arranged delivery day.
