“I ordered a large stainless steel sink for my new utility and dog room that is currently under construction. Work was well underway, the sink was in stock and I was given a very prompt delivery slot. The order was processed very efficiently and the sink arrived on time, late on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, the carrier had clearly dropped the box on one corner and the sink was badly damaged. The packaging was perfectly adequate for it's purpose but not against the awful handling. If it was a genuine accidental drop then admit to it ! I was at home when the delivery was made but as is frequently the case now, the package was just left on my drive for all to see, there was no communication by the driver. I didn't see or hear anything, it was just there when I went out to the car. I contacted House of Enki directly I discovered the damaged sink and sent photographs. I received an email from them early on Saturday morning giving me three alternative options to rectify the problem. I made my decision and advised them accordingly. It is such a shame that a company such as House of Enki can have its excellent reputation and good quality products sullied by its chosen carrier. The carriers these days just seem to want to drop parcels off as quickly as possible and then charge off for their next drop. No thoughts or care about the goods they are carrying and delivering. I trust that House of Enki will take this matter up with the carriers that they used for my purchase and gain some recompense.”
