“I love the gorgeous plants and beautiful pots Hortology delivered. It was difficult choosing which ones to go for, as the selection is fantastic. Everything came extremely well packed and arrived safely in great condition. Have already recommended Hortology to my friends, and will definitely order more once I need to repot!”

“The pots are beautiful and very good quality. Both were slightly wider than stated on the website so a bit too large for what I wanted, but this is not a big deal, I'm sure I'll be able to use them. The plants were very safely packaged and arrived in apparently good conditions. The tradescantia is doing fine, but after only one week the peperomia started to wilt, and I noticed that it was all bent and broken at the base of the stem. Perhaps it was damaged during the delivery and I didn't realise immediately. It is very disappointing. I would recommend the pots, but I wouldn't buy plants again.”

Looking at your order, if the pots were intended for the plants on the order, then they would have been much larger than the sizes we recommend for those plants. We provide external sizes plus details of pot openings to help ensure you match the plant and pot. We also have a detailed size guide and links to suitable collections from each plant page. We are also available to provide assistance and check sizes if required prior to purchase. I am sorry to hear one of the plants subsequently started to wilt. “Plant pots are very high quality for the price. The bronze ones aren't as vibrant in real life as they look in the photos, but it's still pretty. Came well and responsibly packaged. Unfortunately, I had to chase the redelivery of my parcel twice from the courier. I thought the plant may be dead, as it was delivered over 10 days after the order, but it was alive!”

“I ordered an indoor plant pot which I had seen on their website. I was advised by email that it was dispatched and then further information about its arrival. The plant pot was securely packaged and delivered promptly. I had occasion to communicate with customer service who were both helpful and courteous. In view of their excellent products and service, I have ordered another of their lovely plant pots.”

“A very reliable website for both pots and plants. I use them more for pots as they have a bigger selection than most online plant stores. Delivery time is around a week as expected. What is really outstanding are their packaging and website. I ordered two sets of pots/planters and not only was each pot individually wrapped but each set was within a box enclosed in yet another box. The outer box was stuffed to the brim with recyclable packing material so unless your delivery guy decided to wrestle wih your package there should be no damage at all! Secondly the website is one of the easiest to browse through. Very user friendly and lots of options to filter so you can more easily find what you are looking for.”

Hi Ian As explained, we have tried to deliver your plant three times without success and the delivery company has now returned this to us. Unfortunately the plant has deteriorated and is not suitable for re-sale. We have sent you photos of the plant and offered to reship it to you if required or as a goodwill gesture we offered a partial refund. We are not in a position to offer a refund in full for the plant as it was left in transit for too long. Had you contacted us earlier we would have been able to make arrangements to leave with a neighbour or in a safe place and would have done everything we could to facilitate your delivery. Plants are perishable items and subject to different terms in respect of ownership and risk. We accept full responsibility for the quality of our plants up to the first delivery attempt, but thereafter, as we are limited in what we can do to maintain the quality of the plant whilst you rearrange a delivery date, the associated risk passes to the customer. This information is available in our T&C and we believe this is a fair and reasonable approach to supplying perishable items. - Your Hortology Team
