“I am very pleased with my journey from making the call to get information about the process to recieving my report. Tom conducted the snagging who was very friendly whist professional in his dealings with everything. Tom found alot of snags which I have presented to the contractor to rectify before I complete. This was money well spent with a company who I would definately recommend and use again personally! Thanks to Tom and Homesnag!”

“The service I received certainly lived up to expectations having read previous excellent reviews. Efficient, friendly and professional service. My inspector was very knowledgeable not only during the inspection (i.e. technically from a surveying point of view) but generally speaking about the whole completion process. I had a nightmare with my builder so the advise I received pre and post inspection from the HomeSnag team was invaluable. Highly recommend”

“I would really recommend HomeSnag to anyone purchasing a new build home. Tom was really thorough in his inspection and was able to identify snagging areas that I would not have found until they inevitably caused an issue later on. “Excellent service. Try and get your inspection done before completion as it was invaluable for me to find out I had uneven floors and wavy skirting - would have caused issues (too late) when putting down my own flooring. Raised just over 200 issues in all, sent to site quickly. Top marks from start to finish”

“Incredibly detailed reporting. The guy (Tom) was there from 10AM until around 6PM and picked up over 450 snags! We are currently in the process of liaising with the builders to have our home brought up to a much higher standard. Basically, without our (76 page!) snagging report, we would have very little ammunition. All of the snags are properly time-stamped (so the builders can't claim that it was the movers or anything), and even categorised into the various trades that are required to rectify the snag (which is a great help to the builders themselves). Tom has also offered to provide further avocation, should the builders attempt to debase the report, or argue against certain items on it. In all honesty, it is probably the single best investment any new home-buyer could make.”

“I do not have money to burn but genuinely think choosing HomeSnag was the best investment I've made and I thoroughly recommend anyone buying new build to get these gentlemen around. Very knowledgeable not only in construction surveying but also so helpful guiding me through a rather daunting process of snagging. Even my site manager had to Doff his cap to what was raised... Said it blew out the water that other snagging companies check for”

“Very comprehensive snagging list, both major issues and cosmetic faults noted and provided in an itemised manner. Also provided helpful support on how best to approach builder. Would definitely use again as it saved us so much time and picked up issues we would have missed. Only thing that would make it even better is receiving the snags in a spreadsheet as well as the provides list so they can be itemised and tracked / rearranged etc.”

“Good experience, easy to book, Tom is clear in his communication and the snagging was done according to plan. He found a range of issues we would not have spotted, and would have been expensive to sort out ourselves. We were worried the builder would have issues with the snagging but they did not, and part of that I believe is the constructive layout and comments on the actual snagging list which invites cooperation rather than conflict. Snagging list provided on Saturday evening! Many thanks. Recommended.”

“From start to finish HomeSnag was exemplary. I spent over half a half an hour on the phone to HomeSnag when I first rang to understand the service, how it worked and what it would entail. I then booked an inspection which happened a few days later. I spoke with the inspector Tom before he arrived at our property and then again afterwards. He stayed in contact with me throughout the process. Tom spent over 5 hours carrying our his inspection of our new home to be. Ther inspection report we received a couple of days later was extremely comprehensive. It detailed over 200 different snags to our property. A relative who is a surveyor was very impressed with the quality and detail of the report, as was our builders who were particularly in awe of all the high-tech equipment he used to carry out his inspection. This process allowed us to carry out our own snag inspection a couple of weeks later relaxed in the knowledge that the hard work had all been done. Extremely good value for money, I highly recommend this service.”

“Tom was extremely helpful from day one, I had to move my appointment and there was no issue. On the day Tom turned up on time and was *extremely* thorough raising over 400 faults with the property - thankfully a lot of these are very minor but I now feel that I can move forward with my new property knowing that it has stood up to intense scrutiny with no major problems. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending HomeSnag and Tom to anyone, and would actively encourage anybody buying a new house to use the service.”

“Very helpful report. Tom inspected all the aspect of the house thoroughly and found over 250 snagging issues. Would recommend to anyone who buys a new build. His report also showed cold spots where insulation was not blown properly. He photographed all the issues so when I went through the snags with site manager we were able to identify those really quickly. Soil test is part of this report so that is a good indicator if you want to lay turf in the garden. Very happy with this and again strongly recommended. It is worth every penny. Peter”

“Brilliant service from start to finish. Due to completing on the day of the inspection we asked for a later appointment to allow to collect the keys this was not an issue. Our inspector Tom spent a good 5 hours in the house. He even went to the length of showing us how our heating system worked and how our windows were easy clean as the development hadn't. The report was received very quickly and I was amazed at the things that had been found. Alot we probably wouldn't have noticed ourselves. The report was also forwarded to the site manager. The majority of issues are now sorted with our house with the rest due to be shortly. Thanks Homesnag.”
