“The service was very good but the purchase was for furniture that was flat packed. When I came to put on the final door I was a hinge short! So annoying. I reported the problem and it has been acknowledged... just not sure how long it will be before the missing piece is forwarded to me.

“Comms kept up to date, bed frame arrived later than originally expected on checkout, but understand this is likely down to challenges with deliveries this time of year.
A little disappointed in quality of mattress ordered and bed frame doesn’t appear sturdy enough to stand test of time for the price paid. Plus side, replied to my queries on delivery timeframes”
“The sideboard wasn’t the best quality. It came with slight damage to the rear panel and a corner, and the holes for the black iron handle didn’t align. The magnet for the large door was broken and I had to sand the door for it to close. That said, I have kept the sideboard although it is more shabby than chiq!”
“The company customers service it’s great and attentive. But I didn’t realise from the beginning that are representing sellers. The product doesn’t come directly from them. That was the tricky part for us, dealing with the delivery from the seller and not being able to have a proper communication. To be more precise, the wardrobe was not delivered when promised, but Holme Done were fare and offered £15 refund for distress and inconvenience. Also they did their very best to arrange with the seller to deliver the wardrobe on Saturday when we were actually available. The seller called o Thursday to advise they will deliver the wardrobe tomorrow, completely ignoring our request or not giving you the choice to arrange a suitable time. It was impossible to give you a 4 hour slot or to choose from a range of days when you can be at home. That was the tricky side. Eventually we managed to have someone at home on a very short notice.
Would I purchase from the again? Not sure… it was too complicated to deal with a 3rd party who I couldn’t contact Directly as Home Done was the main contact. But when I had to complain about being called at 4 pm to be advised they will deliver the wardrobe the next day when we agree to a Saturday, they were like “it’s the sellers fault “. But I paid Home Done …. I think they want to be like Ebay without being prepared to be fully responsible.
Still great customers service.”

Some bits needed pushing into shape to make them fit together (hadn’t seen anything in the description which said it was self assembly but wasn’t difficult).
Communication for the transaction was clear and delivery time was good.”

The only down sode is the product doesnt have any handles on either side to open the drawers.

“The product is nice quality, but unfortunately it arrived without all of the correct pieces. One of the main components of wood was missing from the coffee table, so we have had to request an exchange for this.”
“Product quality is very bad. Easily chip off from different parts. On delivery discovered one of the part was damaged. When contacted they said it will take another 3weeks to arrange the broken piece.”

Pros - good quality & sturdy wardrobe at a decent price
- Fitters did a good job in the installation
Cons - Home Done scheduling information for the actual fitting day is too vague. We were given a 3 week time frame and then very short notice for the actual fitting date. (2 days!)
The order was placed & paid for in January so they had ample time to schedule & inform
Time of arrival on site was again non-specific ie: from 8am to 5pm.
I suggest that at the very least customers could be told either AM or PM - the fitters have their schedule so should have some idea of when they would arrive, morning or afternoon. It would be good to know rather than be stuck in ALL day.
When mentioned to them that we expected them to arrive at around 8am, my wife was met with surly abruptness & response of .." you and everyone else..."
I suppose being from Eastern Europe they have a different attitude to customer service. :(”
“The shoe bench arrived quickly, but there was no communication to let me know that it had been sent and when it might arrive. The bench is as described, and is just the sort of thing I needed. But the wood is very lightweight, the finishing is very basic, and I am wondering if it will prove to be robust over time.”
“It looks great after fixing everything but the process was hard because the instructions could have been easier if all the pieces were numbered to make it easy to assemble. It took me the whole day to finish the job.”
