I ordered some head phones, paid for them had confirmation and also a delivery date, but then had an email saying they were out if stock and to await a refund.

I ordered Triangle BR03 speakers. They arrived but it appears the courier dropped the box so they were damaged on the corner. So I talked to someone on the phone. They directed me to send an email with pictures so I did. I talked to 'Vee' via email, who offered me £35 partial refund initially. So I asked for £50, to which they replied with £45 is what they can do, but that's not good enough, so I asked for a replacement, to which they replied with we can do £50. I felt a bit slighted and messed around with. I don't feel £50 was worth it, so I asked for £100. To which they responded with a message about how they'll sort it the following week. I called on opening day and spoke to Dips, who was lovely, and he informed me that they do not have a replacement on hand and he would have liked to get me, new speakers, so I asked him what's the best they could do, and he said £70. I was happy with £70, and he was very empathetic and compassionate when speaking with me, something I did not feel was the case with Vee. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, and ideally, I would have liked the speakers to be pristine on arrival but waiting a few weeks for a return/replacement is a hassle I do not want to go through. I do not understand why Vee did not initially offer me the maximum partial refund possible, I don't like nor understand how when I asked for £50, they tried to haggle with me, instead of just accepting, leading me to become more upset feeling slighted and having a damaged product. I feel that Dips made up for it because otherwise I would have just refunded the whole thing and got them elsewhere. A Lesson in customer service is to be learned here somewhere. I am happy overall and may decide to purchase from HomeAV again. I felt (at the end) taken care of and respected.

I managed to complete my purchase about 1458 yet they still managed to dispatch the soundbar "next day delivery"
