“Booking through HolidayTaxis' website was fairly straightforward for our visit to Istanbul, with the actual work being outsourced to a local supplier (Tefen Travel). From Sabiha Gokcen airport to the hotel, it took us a little time to find where the Tefen representative was located (outside the airport), and once he had our details we then had to wait ages with our two kids (9 and 5) until someone was available to take us. After over half an hour waiting, the driver finally turned up and took us to our hotel (around an hour away). The return was much better. I had a WhatsApp message the day before departure to confirm when we would be picked up, and the driver arrived on time and took us to the airport promptly.”

“The driver was very nice but had trouble as his sat nav lead him down dead ends. The price quoted and taken was returned and a higher charge then taken. I had already tipped the driver in cash for his efforts. The surcharge was a surprise as no one had said there was a different charge.”

“I had booked a holiday taxi transfer from Palma airport to our hotel, upon arrival after finding the desk we found a number of drivers stood by the desk. Two ladies were behind the counter, the best way to describe it was chaos! There was not a taxi large enough for our group, near in mind they had a weeks notice! The older lady was frantically trying to sort the problem, she then started crying. After waiting 45 minutes a driver was found. On leaving the airport I said will the taxi be reliable on collection.. assured everything will be ok. Enjoyed a stag weekend, received a text the day before collection told to wait outside the hotel 15 minutes before collection- 13:40, an hour passed no sign of any taxi! Emergency numbers ringing out. We took it upon ourselves to book taxis two in total at a cost of 45? each. Please let me know what can be done to compensate? My partner sent an email when we were having the above problem, no show. No response from you on that email? To date nothing has been done! My advice get a taxi from the rank outside!”

“Things started well. Our plane was late but the driver was still waiting and delivered us to the hotel safely. The return not so good. No taxi turned up. I spent 20 minutes on the phone, three failed attempts where I got through, was put on hold for 5 minutes before ending up being cut off. Finally I got through to a very helpful chap who got in touch with the driver personally and phoned me back with an arrival time. 45 minutes late in the end, and it's only 25 minutes to the airport. I,m assuming we got missed, forgotten. Not a brilliant performance!”

“It?s simple. You book something. Read the instructions. If you?re having issues refer back to the documents. Call the numbers provided and you?ll get the service you booked. In some cases you might not but I was lucky with mine. Thanks to everyone at SamWay Travel”
