“I've not sold our property for 35 years so needed to catch up! HOA provided a wealth of information on selling techniques. Their section on how to decide which high street estate agent to choose and whether I should use an online estate agent was especially useful. I also got quick feedback by email from Paula, the HomeOwners Alliance CEO.”

Some very valuable calculation and contact options for services such as solicitors, estate agents, removal companies. Impressed. Wish I had found it earlier - 2 weeks in and had already made a big mistake which would have been avoided if I had found the site before commencing the process. It is 26 years since i bought and sold, so really need the help the website is providing.”

“Was horrifying to see that so many people are suffering shoddy building works on new builds. I hoped to find out if I could sue my builder for a major fault that has gone on for 6 months and not yet rectified. It has prevented me using the room most of that time as the floor is unlevel. It did look on the site that there are no solutions and the developer can do just as they like. Time for the government to tighten this up, along with setting limits as to how close a property can be to another, or overlook another and for developers to be open and honest.”

“To people like us who haven't moved in almost 50 yrs I find the advice given on HOA to be invaluable. The entire process has changed so much since last time, except finding somewhere we like enough to buy, for instance, now you can deal with Estate Agents, Surveyors and Conveyancers either by phone or online. This may seem to be common knowledge for most of you but "in the olden days" people had to trudge around to all these separate offices in person. The pitfalls haven't really changed but it is great to have an organisation like HOA to refer to first so that hopefully when the time comes for us the process will run like clockwork.”
