“This was very helpful. However, the position I was in was that the house was on the market. One other price had been put in, and there had been little interest but as soon as I put an offer in the estate agent suddenly found lots of other people were interested. I requested a counteroffer from the vendor and the estate agent refused (not directly). I felt that I was being played so that they could up the price.”
