The information was not as clear as the information I got from Which Finance. There were no percentages or amounts mentioned, no examples, they would have been helpful.

Very useful information on quite a complex subject - EWS1

I found your website very useful and it answered most if not all of the questions I would need to ask when purchasing a property. Thank you for supplying great information

Renovations worth doing, eg worktop. Auction sales won't fall through.

Excellent, very informative, thank you!

Yes. I am renting out my property well below your suggested rate. However you rate is about what I think I should be charging. My tenant has been in the property for 6 years and during this time I have not raised the rent. The current contract runs out later this year and I plan to raise. Very helpful advice

I found everything, I needed to know.

Not really helpful. I want to complain about a local scam involving several estate agencies and a local councillor. There seems to be no process for such scams to be reported, as requirements are to go the individual agents first. They will hardly put their hands up for false advertising and in the meantime, buyers are being conned.

Hi Christine, Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. If you think the estate agents are acting illegally, you can report them to Trading Standards. You can do this via Citizen's Advice and here is the link to the simple form. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/consumer/get-more-help/report-to-trading-standards/ Best of luck, Paula
Really helped when working out the cost of different surveys.

Really helpful advice on many aspects of dealing with leasehold properties
Helpful Report
Not really. As the neighbour of someone building an extension Interested in what to do when party wall awards go wrong. Everywhere writes about how to set them up but very little about what you can do when your neighbour refuses to repair damage to your property as a result of work which they undertook as part of the party wall award. The system is not fit for purpose. Neighbours like us who supported the original development are left with hefty bills as a result of their neighbour's callous disregard for their property.

Comprehensive and very helpful advice on many, if not all, aspects of home purchase.

No. The valuation had a range of 250,000

Hi Sue, The valuation is meant to be just an estimate and is not designed to replace the expertise or local knowledge of a reputable estate agent. We all know that every property is unique and the value is ultimately the price a buyer is willing to pay. The automated valuation can be a helpful tool that is based on various data points, such as historic sold prices of the property and others in the area. It is possible that when there is less data available, e.g. where a property is in a rural area (less properties to compare against) or there have been little historic sales in an area in recent years, there are less things to measure and a valuation can vary to what an estate agent would say.
