“I was interested to understand the law on restricted covenants and who is responsible for enforcement. The local council has granted permission to an extension of a pre-existing building, which goes against the restriction set out in our deeds and advised that it is a Civil matter. Though it could be addressed by the landowner who set out the covenant.”
