I was so pleased to have ordered the gift box for the newspaper as that added the finishing touch as the newspaper was wrapped in tissue paper within the nice sturdy gift box. I was very impressed that I could so easily obtain a 90 year old copy of the Yorkshire Post. I ordered it on the Saturday and received it the following Tuesday. Couldn’t be more pleased.”

“There is a lot to like about historic-newspapers, they seem to carry a huge stock and a good choice of publications. On the downside, I paid £31.48 for one publication, when it arrived it had a name written in ink on the front cover (looks like the name for a newspaper delivery boy). I contacted the company, only to be told that it was the nature of the product and some will have crosswords filled in etc. Whilst I accept that, I do believe individual blemishes should be highlighted to customers prior to making the purchase. I was offered a return/buy another copy, but warned it could be in worse condition.”
