“So happy with the 1954 copy of the Telegraph which I bought for my sister’s 70th. Came perfectly packaged in a red presentation box with personalized certificate of authenticity. Fantastic service. It just arrived here in Cape Town courtesy of my daughter in law and will wing its way to Zimbabwe with me next week. Thank you so much. It will be a very special gift. Liz Linsell”
“I bought this as an 18th birthday present for a granddaughter. Looking very carefully at a few pages
( wanted to keep it in pristine condition for the big day!) was a little trip down memory lane! I am sure she will love this and find it so interesting .”
“It was a great product to purchase for a special age, however i wouldnt pay the extra for the box as ours came damaged so wasnt impressed after you pay £10 for it.”
“Having complete** original newspapers with all supplements and colour magazines is critical to understanding our history, cultural, social, political and economic heritage and events that digital can never provide for the reason that digital is interactive with current news pop ups, comments in hindsight, analysis and advertisements of the day one views it. Original print newspapers on the other hand, are historical physical documents that should not be microfilmed as the British Museum did with its newspapers in the 1990s then discard the newspapers. **Scrap books with clippings cut out of newspapers should never be done as parallel events and issues need to be seen all together.”
“Hassle free, prompt service. The books were well boxed and wrapped and delivered in great condition before the expected delivery date. I had no issues whatsoever and will be very happy to deal with Historic Newspapers UK in future”
