The representative camero measure the windows and brought a good selection of sample material. He helped me to choose a fitting pattern in a polite manner. When he returned to fit them he arrived on time and completed the work quickly and neatly. I am very satisfied with this work.

My local window covering expert he was extremely professional, timely manner & fitted my blinds with ease, excellent customer service throughout the process, kept me informed regarding delivery date/ arrival time, guidance suitability of blinds etc valved input. This is my fourth order from Hillarys I have been using their services for nearly 10 years, no problems have occurred highly recommended.

Hi, Where do I start, ordered roof and side blinds for my conservatory having moved in in May 2021, ordered in June received a call from fitter to come in August however when he turned up 40 clips were missing so unable to fit them all, waited several weeks, fitter came back now 2 of my vertical blinds don't made too long, another month wait while re made, came back guess what too long again, this happened four times, fitter as frustrated as me kept telling manufacturers they needed to be made shorter, I have rang numerous times as no correspondance with me, no one is ever able to help just say"get someone to ring you back", no one ever does, have e mailed, finally someone said would get manager Fabien to ring me, finally get call but not convenient time so said he would ring back, still waiting! I use my conservatory to eat in and was unable to use last summer now we heading towards summer will be too hot to use again, thankfully I only paid deposit and will now be "calling it a day" and getting another firm in to do the blinds as they look a total mess with two not fitting, I think a six month wait is quite long enough! thought a big well known company would be good how wrong, take your money and can't deliver, avoid at all costs save yourself heartache and stress, this company have no conscience or care for customers!

Placed my order in October 2021, learnt the blinds were manufactured but most of them could not be located, got partial refund and waiting for installation date for 3 blinds fully paid. I spoke numerous times to the customer service and I still don't know when they will fit the blinds. I will never use this company again.

Avoid at all cost. Paid £1300 deposit at the beginning of October and was given a date for 2nd February by the representative, then was sent an email to say fitting was now in March !!! the wait apparently is because the shutters are made in CHINA, heard last week from Hilarys the blinds have arrived in this country however the fitter is not available to fit them until March, even though I was told if they arrived in this country I could have them fitted in February. In November I was refused a refund. Disgusting company policies and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Worst service ever and blinds / shutters are nothing special . My shutters frame broke after 3 months fitting, 3 months after reporting it and I still can’t get a phone call from their area manager to book a repair date!! Catastrophic!!

I ordered my shutters on 9th October last year. I wasnt told it would be a sux month wait until I had paid £1000 deposit that they would be coming from China and would take six months to arrive [theyve have not arrived as of yesterday]. I am fed up of trying to speak to a PERSON. I had curtains from you last year again had to have you back. I willnot be dealing with you again. I am totally disappointed.

On reading the below reviews I feel very lucky as I didn’t even get a visit!! I booked an appointment for today between 9 & 12pm. At 12.20 I text the rep who advised he was running 2 hours late but would get to me asap (why wasn’t I contacted advising this?????). I then phoned him because saying that didn’t let me know when to expect him and I did have other things to do! He was nice and said he’d be with me at 1ish. At 1 he called to say he was on a different road to my address so where was my house. It eventually transpired that he deals with the Luton area and I’m in Bristol……only 100 miles away!!! I checked my booking details and I’d input correctly. I have no confidence in using them now, not only did they get this simple part wrong but they couldn’t be bothered to contact me to say they were running late. I feel for all you who’ve actually paid them and are having issues…..good luck

I ordered roller blinds for my conservatory in Aug 2021. When they arrived they had different size rollers and fitting brackets. It looks awful. I wasn't made aware of this at time of ordering. I was told that the bigger blind needed the bigger brackets when the guy came to fit them. I wasn't happy and the fitter said he would see what he could do. Long story short after month of waiting he said his manager had contacted the manufacturer and that they would make the bigger of the two blinds with the smaller roller and brackets. The material was out of stock but was happy to wait. Eventually the blind was done and on the day of fitting the fitter opened the box and they had made the same blind with the big roller and the same big ugly brackets. Blinds were ordered Aug 2021 this is now Feb 2022 and I have heard nothing from them. The way the blinds look is like looking at a toilet roll and a huge kitchen roll together. Completely different in size. Hilarys customer service and treatment of customers is disgusting. I will never use this company again and wouldn't advise anyone else to unless you want to give your money to a company that clearly doesn't respect their customers

Blinds and curtains ordered in July with a deposit paid and receipt to show payment, all fitted in august and remaining payment made. In November we received a call and email saying we had an outstanding debt with them that was being referred to debt recovery. Called them and forwarded copies of receipts. All emails have been ignored that I have sent and we continue to get demands for payment. They have ignored proof of payment receipts. Absolutely terrible time with them.

Initially had blinds fitted excellently at fantastic price. Then on requiring further blinds went back to Hillary’s for blinds fitted extremely poorly by different fitter much more expensive. Then after pushing greatly for further fit Scott from Burnley redeemed Hillary’s with fantastic fit and excellent Service. Thank you Scott! A credit to the company who reacted poorly to our complaint. Well done Scott and best wishes to you

I ordered shutters from Hillary’s in August. I paid a deposit of £1500 on 17th august I and was told they would be fitted on 10th January. On 9th January, having heard nothing to the contrary , I had my existing blinds removed and moved furniture in readiness. I thought I’d just give the fitter a quick call to confirm that all was well. I was very surprised to hear that he longer worked for them. As it was Sunday, customer services was not available ( however, you can get through to sales dept on Sunday,) When I eventually got through the following morning I was told that on screen information about my account showed that the fitting was to be reorganised. I appreciate that sometimes arrangements change but the fact Hillary’s didn’t even show me the courtesy of informing me is inexcusable and demonstrates that once they have your money they don’t care about the customer. I asked to speak to a manager but none was available. I made repeated calls over several days. A manager then phoned me and said he was trying to arrange another fitter and several days later the fitter rang and arranged to fit my shutters on 25th jan. A 15 day delay does not seem too bad and may have been more acceptable if Hillary’s had bothered to tell me so that I wouldn’t have removed the existing blinds and spent two weeks living in a goldfish bowl and having to sleep in the spare room. However, the nightmare didn’t end there. The measuring had been so badly done that the frames did not fit and so my shutters still couldn’t be fitted. Enough! I have cancelled the order as I couldn’t bear the stress of starting all over again.I have been told I will get a refund but, of course that will take time. ( although when I paid the deposit it was due ”now”. I have been told the shutters will be binned. Apart from the waste there is an environmental implication. These shutters were made and shipped from China. Avoid Hillary’s at all costs.

I ordered my shutters in August and I was to get them fitted on the 21st January and I got no contact or correspondence so I phoned to check if any delays 3 times before the date and was told no delays expected then I emailed them and got no reply to any of my emails to make sure fitting was going a head and got no further reply’s the 21st January came and I phone again to be told that my shutters were not expected in until the 26th January! I raised a complaint as I had not confirmation since the 21st as to when a fitting date could now be expected I sent a email tried to call I got no reply, Iv paid half my money for the shutters and still waiting. I am totally disappointed with Hillery it’s a total disgrace that no one has got back to me.

I purchased blinds for my new build property, Roman for the back and shutters for the front. It was a big investment and I went with Hilary’s because they had a good reputation. How wrong I was! The consultant who helped me purchase was great. But whilst the Roman blinds were ordered, they didn’t process my shutters order. When I followed up after hearing nothing, the advisor gave me the wrong advice, I had to call back 4 times over two weeks and eventually it was an issue they had getting the paperwork from another department. Then they called to say that there was a 3 month wait, as of that timing, because they hadn’t processed it. I wait 3 month, then they say that the fitter has left, a week before my date to fit. So now it’s another month. I’ve been without curtains/blinds in my front house for now 6 months and when I put in a formal complaint, hilarys offered some compensation, but refused to confirm how much, they were keen to explain that I couldn’t back out of the order, so I didn’t have many options. When I asked them to contact through email. As I am at work 9-5 they ignore my ask and call anyway. I’ve asked about 6 times. Their cal centres as only open Monday 9-5, so good luck talking to them about anything if you work to pay your bills. The complaint that I did put in. They didn’t even conclude and when I ask, what is the conclusion, they ignore me. So if you generally want blinds that are lovely, but overpriced, 6 months late, take a lot of time on chasing up and generally create a feeling of helplessness as they ignore your feedback- go with Hilary’s

I placed an order (PAID IN FULL) in November with an the agent and he said blinds will be installed with 4 to 6 weeks. A measure would be arranged in 3 days. no contract was made, i chased and date was agreed 3 weeks after payment. Never showed with no communication. Several weeks passed, no contact, Customer Services unhelpful. Cancelled order and still no refund. I have found them dishonest and unreliable - if you do use don't pay in full i like i did.

In November the agent promised to install the blinds on 14/12/21. He never called and the blinds are still not up even though he took payment in full. I have found them dishonest and unreliable.
