Not impressed at all!! I have asked for a refund but have been told tough luck... I paid £900 upfront in good faith and have been left out of pocket and ripped off.... Each blind has an inch gap between them looking unsightly and letting in light... For the money they are really poor quality and not what I wanted at all. I will now have to purchase elsewhere and pay all over again. I am so annoyed and would strongly advise you not using this company/cowboys. I escalated my complaint to the Chief Exec - John Risman in the hope he can see what everyone else can see and that is a shoddy job!

Ordered shutters for front of house in August 2020 fitter came on Friday one frame missing no one can tell me where the frame is no one can tell me when it wil. Arrive. Extremely poor customer service I made a verbal complaint last night someone called me yesterday but no one from Head office has had the manners to call me today. BE WARNED DO NOT ORDER FROM HILLARYS they take your money and then leave you .

Warning to prospective customers DO NOT CONSIDER using HILARY’S. I would not give them any stars if that were an option. Once they have your money the customer service is appalling. Now they are blaming Covid. They cant meet the fitting needs of clients but continue take it orders. Perhaps in these different times they need to look at how the company operates. First experience a few years ago the fitter didn’t arrive and was told by customer services that the fitter had left and they didn’t know about my order !!!!! Several calls later I was Told to put BLACK BIN BAGS at windows !!!!! While we waited for them to be fitted. Don’t think I have ever been so angry. Eventually they were fitted quality okay but certainly not the neatest job. I had one window that couldn’t be done until alterations to the room. Against my better judgment once alterations finished I ordered the shutter from Hilarys purely because I wanted it to match. The rep took the order and full payment in June 2020. She was apparently loved the company so much her husband joined to. Very pleasant fitter came to check measurements etc. I fully appreciated that with ‘Covid’ there might be a delay but now we are in November and further delays. Firstly told problem at Felixstowe !!!!!! If I’d realised they were not made in this country they would never have got my first order which will make me more careful in the future. Now my fitter is shielding which I can fully appreciate and not a criticism of him, however Hillarys obviously don’t employ enough fitters or perhaps it is that they have a high staff turnover which would not surprise me. I wanted to fit them ourselves but have been informed that Hillarys do not allow that if you want a guarantee, so our hands are tied. we cannot do anything but wait. I have NEVER found customer services at all helpful, perhaps that is because of all the complaints they deal with.

Hillarys is great value for money considering measuring and fitting by an advisor is included! They also have a fantastic range of fabrics to choose from.

Was recommended to Hillarys by my neighbour after I moved in to my new house. They came with all their samples and the advisor was very pleasant, friendly and no pushy at all. He actually lived just round the corner, which I wasn't expecting. My new curtains look great and would recommend.

My local advisor was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the product and talked me through which blinds would work best in my space. The service was second to none and great value for money.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my new Wooden blinds in my living room, especially with the darker nights its made the room more private and cozy ready for the winter! My advisor was so helpful picking options for me as well as providing lots of helpful product details, he was very patient with me as at first I wasn't sure what to have! Thank you Hillarys :)

I'm absolutely in love with my new blinds! I went for Day and Night blinds in my kitchen and they've solved a world of problems, especially now it's darker sooner! They are so clever, I'm so grateful to Hillarys and my advisor for everything they've done, I'm finally happy with my kitchen! I couldn't recommend this company more, the service was better than I expected with everything taken care of for me I felt totally at ease and safe in terms of Covid19 too. I could never have achieved a look like this without Hillarys thank you!

Stay away from ordering anything from Hilary blinds. I ordered blinds for sons room the guy took 1 and half hours measuring window. We placed order waited 4 weeks for them to put blind up..ONLY TO FIND THE MAN PLACED WRONG MEASUREMENT AND THE POLE WAS TOO SHORT FOR WINDOW. NO apology from Hilary blinds. Cancelled order and waiting for refund 3 weeks later Have ordered from another company and so pleased I cancelled Hilary blinds

- shocking customer service. constant delays. - 3 months from paying deposit to completion instead of the promised 2 weeks. - countless broken promises - 9 visits scheduled. - 25% of visits missed - social distancing laws broken in my home and this was later accepted in writing by Hillarys. - reps only wore PPE on 5 out of 8 visits during the pandemic - reps played good-cop-bad-cop routine to try and appease me. - made me miss several days of work either for missed appointments or pointless visits. - the first attempted fitting was a waste because it transpired the measurements had all been taken incorrectly so blinds didn't fit properly. - now awaiting a response from the CEO, FD and Group Sales and Customer Services Director. DON'T EVER USE HILLARYS.

Excellent service from Hillarys. My curtains were measured and fitted perfectly, whilst be covid-19 safe. No issues with timings, fitting or customer service, thrilled with the results!

This is my experience with Hillary’s blinds, I feel the experience is really disappointing from start to finish. We wanted to put shutters in the front of the house, I have always fitted my own blinds through online companies and never had any problems. I thought that there maybe a few difficulties trying to fit shutters and decided to go to the so called experts. I arranged for an agent to visit the house, she was pleasant, measured the windows and gave an instant quote. We decided to go with 3 windows at a cost of £1100. This is when thing started to go wrong, we were told we had to pay 50% now and 50% before installation. We paid the deposit and got overcharged. I only noticed when the agent left, so spoke to customer services who got in touch with the agent and I was told they would adjust the final payment. The day of payment came and I noticed that Hillary’s had taken over £600 without my permission, I gave no bank details and assume that took them from the original card payment? Again they had taken too much, I again spoke to customer service and was told the message hadn’t been passed to finance and it would take 15 days for the refund. The installation date was arranged when the professional installer came to check the agents measurements, we agreed the date. I booked holiday to ensure I would be at home. This date came and went, when the installer contacted me he told me the fit date hadn’t been arranged. The shutter installation is poor, screws missing, a bespoke frame has been hacked and filled with decorator caulk, gaps in every corner of the frame. I wouldn’t use their service again and have contact Hillary’s as I want to speak to a manager.

Three months on left with a broken window and no blinds. Shocking customer service - stay away from Hilarys at all costs, had them out trying to get the blinds done 5 times now, each time there has been something wrong, like two blind instead of one long one, the motor not working, the motor not in the blind - it is a joke!

Shocking service when my mum used them Rep not interested in even talking to my elderly mum really, he seemed extremely shallow, not really interested in what she wanted ,just making a sale I advised my mum not to go ahead as he didn’t really even know how to measure ,and because it was a bay window that needed a new pole he was uninterested , and completely stressed. When he brought the curtains round , they didn’t shut properly because he the pole was incorrect for the curtains He a tried to tell my mum they would be fine ,and didn’t need shutting Because I was there , I said we are not paying Until you put this right In the end he bought another colleague with him and the pole was changed ,obviously further cost ,which we didn’t mind , and the curtains were put up thanks to the other guy helping out The whole experience was ruined for my mum ,it was stressful and upsetting wondering if it was going to work out , while we were waiting for the curtains to be refitted after the first failure All of for the fee of over £500 Never again
