“Although obviously more expensive than shop bought frc it was worth the money. My kids are vegan/veggie or try to be. I try only to buy farm assures meat. Outdoor bred etc. But I know even free range chicken is not quite ‘out in the field’ And I love chicken! 😢. So I hoped that this might go some way to easing my inner conflict! The chicken was lovely. It smells of rosemary and it looked so fresh and it was plump and juicy. And the supremes were such a good size as were the chickens themselves. Tasty tasty tasty. No complaints from anyone and every scrap eaten. It was moist and juicy, roasted whole or in pieces. A definite winner for me.”

“Without doubt the best chicken we've ever bought! And the Christmas rooster is fabulous alternative to turkey. I cannot recommend Herb Fed highly enough.”

“I’ve only had a couple of meals so far from my delivery. I’m not convinced yet by the flavour - I was expecting something quite different from my usual free range supermarket chicken. Apart from the flavour of the chicken, I was pretty appalled at the packaging. So much plastic and polystyrene. I’ve had other chilled meat deliveries that have been much more sensitively (and still effectively) packaged.”

“The Chicken Box is a perfect mix. Lovely quality and taste and so much nicer than supermarket free range chicken. Our Christmas turkeys have been delicious too.”

“My first order with Herb Fed. I had the chicken box. Super fresh chicken was well packed and delivered on time. Had one of them roasted on Sunday. Delicious, moist and tender. Will definitely be ordering again.”

“Really pleased with the chicken I ordered. This is my 2nd order and I will definitely order again. The chicken is fresh and when cooked has a delicious flavour, tender and moist. Delivery was on time and ice pack still frozen.”

“We love this chicken. It's really good value and we are confident the poultry is well looked after. It's good to have a trusted supplier in the current climate. Fantastic flavour, always arrives well packaged and the chicken is never fatty or soft and over watery when cooking it. The customer service is very good too and their communications are always clear and helpful. Thank you for caring for your birds, it means a lot to us.”

“Delivery arrived on time and extremely well packed.we have used the Chicken Livers they were superb. Only small issue was we ordered whole Chickens but got spatchcocked instead but not a problem they will get used. First online order and won't be the last”
