“This is the second time we have had a Herb Fed Rooster and we were just as pleased the second time round. Very tasty and succulent meat. Sadly we couldn't get one for Christmas 2022 as the company had problems with bird flu. That must have been awful for everyone, but this year we were delighted that they were back in business. The order process is easy and the bird was delivered on time. The staff were very helpful when I had a query. I will definitely use Herb Fed again.”

“Ordered a 4 - 5kg cockerel for delivery two days before Christmas. Arrived exactly on time, really well packaged, and simple cooking instructions were provided. What an amazingly tasty bird! Lovely moist breast meat with plenty of flavour, and the leg and wing meat was so nice, without being tough or greasy. Easily fed 8 greedy people with plenty of leftovers. I'll definitely be ordering again.”

“Without a doubt the best turkey I’ve had the pleasure to cook and eat. It was incredibly fresh and was very moist. The turkey was very well packaged and wrapped, with ice packs to keep it fresh. I will be getting my turkeys from here in the future without a doubt. Simple answer - you want a good turkey, You come here. Thank you!”

“We have had turkey at Christmas every year for as long as I can remember. We decided to try something different this year and ordered a Rooster. It arrived on the day we selected, packaged well and kept cold with ice…so far so good. When we tasted it, things got even better we were blown away by how delicious and succulent the meat was. The juices made incredible gravy, it was the centrepiece of the best Christmas lunch we have ever had - we are definitely Rooster converts, can’t recommend highly enough.”

“The bird was very tasty indeed. It arrived inadequately packed inside the box with only a small piece of grease proof paper on it. There were many feather stubs in the skin and I pulled many out - shown as the black bots in the photo below.”

“What an absolutely fantastic find!! The rolled, boneless turkey roast including both breast and dark meat was nothing less than perfect for four of us. It was delivered exactly as requested on 23 Dec packed in ice and precisely within the 2 hour window if which I had been notified. Roasted as per instruction couldn't have been easier or more foolproof. It was certainly enjoyed and made a perfect Christmas Dinner. The leftovers were ideal for sandwiches which of course, by now are history. I would without hesitation to recommend this product to anyone considering.”

“Our cockerel was juicy, tasty, tender, and as perfect as can be. It arrived on time, beautifully packed and with a little bunch of herbs to add to the stuffing (with a recipe included). As usual, we were delighted with our Herb Fed Christmas dinner!”

“I just wanted to say thanks for making our Christmas dinner so special. This is the 1st year we have ordered from you; our local butcher, where we have ordered from for more than 10 years, let us down by switching to frozen turkeys, so I went on the hunt for something new. My wife’s family are from Easingwold originally and it was nice to have something that had some meaning rather than a generic faceless company. The turkey was, without a doubt, the most delicious, tender and succulent bird we have ever had. Our guests were so complimentary and it easily fed the 15 of us with plenty leftovers for the all important Boxing Day sandwiches etc. You have converted us forever and we are happy to sing your praises north of the border!”
