“I can't praise the Herb Fed experience highly enough, It was outstanding In every way. The entire process was effortless and trouble free,with the end result being a succulent, extremely tasty centre piece for our meal of the year. An absolute delight. Thank you everyone. “Easy to order, and delivery was on time with notification of timing. The rooster was well packed and chilled. Easy to cook and carved well. Was moist and tasty and I now have some excellent stock in the deep freeze. Excellent, thank you”

“Our Rooster was excellent, very moist and tasty. We followed the cooking instructions but instead of putting an onion in the cavity we added a light homemade breadcrumb, suet and herb stuffing, knowing not to put a sausage meat stuffing in which would affect the core temperature and cooking time. The bird was cooked as estimated on the instructions, we had taken it out of the fridge 2hours before cooking to allow to come to room temperature and basted several times during cooking. We let the cooked bird stand for an hour before carving. Just one comment, next time we would like the gizzard removed please.”
