“Bought a rooster for Christmas. Collection from the farm went like clockwork. Was greeted by cheerful smiles and Christmas wishes from the family.It was well packed and had a bunch of fresh herbs in the box. There was also a cooking instruction card and a recipe for soup to use leftovers. As I'd never had a roster before, I followed the cooking instruction, and it came out absolutely perfect. Best chicken I have ever tasted. Thank you all very much. Hope 2024 is a fantastic year for your business...I'll certainly be returning!”

“Everyone said it was the best turkey they had ever had, so the bird was a big success at Christmas. Good service and good product. My only comment is the bird came with lots of pin feathers.”

“Superb!! Couldn't be better!! We also tried the stuffing recipe that came with the turkey and the lovely bouquet of herbs, and it too was magnificent - a most worthy companion to an amazingly wonderful bird! oh, and don't forget the excellent stock that the carcass makes. All in all absolutely top quality and great value! Highly recommended.”

“Turkey was a big hit this Christmas! Was super tasty, especially the dark leg meat - very gamey! It was also really easy to cook - no butter under the skin, wrapping in bacon and cooking for hours. Just pop in the oven for a couple of hours and we got a moist and tasty bird - very impressed overall!”

“My large boned and rolled turkey arrived on time, well packaged with good cooking advice and tips included, plus a fresh herb pack. I follow the instructions and it simply could not have been better, all moist, tender and super tasty. Very enjoyable experience from start to finish, thank you!”

“Firstly, the order process is easy and the delivery updates as Christmas approached were spot on. Our cockerel was fabulous, as always. Easy to cook and really juicy, tasty meat. My parents, who were trying cockerel for the first time, were really impressed. We will continue to buy Herb Fed birds in future. Thank you so much for a wonderful Christmas dinner!”

“A beautiful Turkey joint. Very few joints can claim to offer both white and brown meat....this does. Take care not to overcook it and ensure you rest it for at least 30 minutes (possibly longer). If there is one reservation..... it would be nicer if stuffed or had more central herbs to give it a greater depth of flavour. Even offering it with an accompanying stuffing would enhance it.”

“Absolutely beautiful. Well packaged and arrived on time. The bird itself was flavoursome and the cooking instructions were very informative - I even deviated from my traditional cooking method, with no complaints. My new go to Christmas Dinner!”
