“The turkey roll itself was lovely. It would have been helpful, however, if the weight of it was shown on the joint itself. I couldn't remember the weight I'd ordered but since I only paid the basic £68 price I assumed it was 1 kg and it took a lot longer than that to cook. Sent my timings a bit awry. Other than that, great service.”

“Delicious Christmas rooster arrived as promised. Roasted with bacon on top, herbs inside (provided by Herb Fed) the cavity with lemon and onion. Gravy made with the giblets. Everyone loved the bird! We will order again.”

“What a fabulous turkey! Delivery hassle free and on time. I opted to cook our turkey in a wood fired clay oven and all i can say is....incredible! Everyone said it was the best turkey they had eaten. Will be using again next year. Thankyou”

“The exceptional flavour and texture of Herb Fed chickens are 100% quality and a lovely reminder of when I was a child and my favourite Sunday lunch was roast chicken (free-range reared by my grandpa) - such a special treat! We also loved receiving a large bunch of fresh rosemary. Thank you”

“Athough I only order for Christmas time, on each occasion I have been impressed with their service and the quality of the turkey joints and their customer care is second to none. Their excellent animal welfare was the main reason I started to use them and long may they continue.”

“Simply the best turkey I have ever had. I think there comes a time in everyone's life when they've had enough of the leftovers and it's a bit if a labour of love to finish them. Not this year. I've honestly just finished the last slice this morning, and I can tell you I was a little sorry to see it go.”

“Firstly, it was great website - easy to order and a really nice feel of a family run business. Then after ordering I was kept informed by email at regular intervals. The rooster arrived well packaged. Finally, it was delicious!”

“We have purchased a Turkey Crown for the past 3 Christmases, from Herb Fed, and always found them superior to Supermarket bands. This year's turkey Crown was exceptional - Tender melt-in-the-mouth meat, with lovey herb flavours and aromas of Thyme and Oregano. The herb flavour was enhanced by the supply of live Sprigs of Thyme and Oregano, which we mixed with a butter rub between the skin and the flesh of the bird. Outstanding, and thank you again Herb Fed, for making our Chrismas Dinner so enjoyable and memorable. Chris and Mick Baker”

“Found Herb Fed on the internet and was very taken with the details of the care taken of the turkeys and the preparation pre-dispatch.Excellent moist flavourful rolled Turkey. Easy to cook, generous portions for 8 and still lots left from 2.8 Kg joint. Will definitely be purchasing chicken soon Many thanks for the centrepeice of my Christmas feast”
