“A lot of the free-range birds we have had have been from France and whilst very tasty are also very mean meat-wise. This certainly cannot be said for the herby bird we have just cooked and only partly eaten because it was very generous in its meat content. The leg meat was quite dark, a good sign that the bird has spent a lot of time using those muscles running around. The bird was absolutely delicious and very moist. I must say that having bought once we will certainly be returning for more...just give us a chance to get through the other two thirds in the freezer. “I am very pleased that Herb Fed was recommended to me. I have thought for some time that we should be more careful of where we buy our meat and I’m very happy that Herb Fed was able to answer my questions regarding how their chickens were raised and dispatched. We received our first delivery last week and have found the meat to be delicious!”

“Best tasting chicken I’ve eaten by a distance….whether a whole bird, thighs, wings, or any other cut, Herb Fed chickens really are noticeably better than any other chicken I’ve eaten. Lovely people to deal with too!”

“The chicken is wonderful, moist, very flavoursome, cooks beautifully. The meat is definitely a five star review but the packaging contain quite a lot of polystyrene and I didn't know how to dispose of it in an eco friendly way.”

“This is the second time I’ve ordered the big box of chicken (2 full chickens, chicken breast, thighs and diced chicken) and it’s so good. Ive wrapped most of it up and put it in the freezer so it should last me a good while! The chicken is such good quality, tastes lovely, it’s well packaged and insulated and it’s so nice knowing I’m supporting such a great business. Highly recommend!”
