“We had a 6kg turkey, which we collected from the farm. The set up at the farm was very efficient and the turkey excellent. The cooking times on the instructions seemed too short for the size of bird but were actually spot on!”

“Excellent turkey, well packed and delivered on time, in good condition. Rather surprised that the herb pack included was made up from imported herbs, but I have my own in the garden.”

“Picked up on the arranged day, our order was ready to go. It was DELICIOUS! First time we’ve had a Rooster. A good size, like an extra large chicken I suppose! It was tender, full of flavour and there was no waste whatsoever. The foxes got the carcass and the bowl was licked clean! (And that was just my husband)! Lol”

“We had a tasty turkey from Herb Fresh. We had our turkey deboned and rolled which made cooking easy. The turkey came with a cooking guide, herbs and recipe to make a delicious stuffing. The giblets also came separately which I used to make a delicious stock for our gravy. This is the third year that I have bought a turkey from Herb Fresh. Collecting the turkey was well organised, efficient and straightforward.”

“I was very impressed with both the quality of the turkey and the efficiency of the 'pick up from farm' facility. The flavour of the meat was the best I've tasted and I will definitely be ordering one again.”

“The experience was spoiled by having to spend nearly two hours pulling out the remains of feathers with a pair of tweezers. I was a returning customer having purchased a rooster last Christmas. I will not be returning next year unless there is some assurance things have changed. It is a waste of your time spending the effort on taste when the experience is ruined before reaching the stage of tasting the product.”

Dear Mr Potter, We are sorry to hear your frustration with the preparation of your rooster and thank you for your feedback. This year our Roosters were processed in a far more superior way than in previous years in that they were game hung and dry plucked by hand and hence will have looked slightly different in terms of presentation. Nonetheless we hope the bird tasted wonderful and are sorry for your disappointment and will contact you directly to explain further.
