“From introduction to test my experience with HST has been absolutely 1st class.From dealing with the ladies on the telephone to meeting with Gordon for induction to actually being trained on the counter balance truck and instruction by Sean on the Level 2 Warehousing and Storage Course.Sean is an excellent tutor and made it a pleasure to learn something new I honestly cannot speak highly enough of him. I have already been offered work on account of the course achieved and now I am looking to do a driving qualification to make my CV more attractive to employers. ( Again through HST) Being unemployed for the first time in nearly 40 years and really being forced to retrain I know there are alot of training providers out there and HST took some finding... but they are the best at what they do in my experience.A regional asset and top quality training provider.”

“I trained with Ritchie in Darlington and was very pleased with the way the instructor worked. He put me at ease from the start and displayed an excellent level of knowledge throughout. A totally enjoyable experience with a very capable instructor.”

“Totally relaxed atmosphere, all instructors are easy to approach and happy to answer any questions. The course pace allows you to fully understand the instruction rather than power through. Great facilities, tea,coffee... With a Tesco 2 minutes walk away.”

“Great training provider! Having just completed a counterbalance forklift course as a complete novice I would definitely recommend. Anth trained us all week and was so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. He gave us all the information we needed and made everything so easy to understand!”

“I done a 3 day Telehandler course with the instructor Paul Ward. He was brilliant. Took the time to show me everything i needed and gave me solid guidance when i needed it. Glad to say i passed and looking forward to getting started in my new role. Thanks again for all your help. Really enjoyed the course. Will definitely be back when its due for renewal. Cheers.”

“Let me start by saying I failed my class 2 test, but this was in no part my trainer's fault. To give you a clue as to the caliber of trainers on the HGV side, my instructor had commercial and combat driving experience spanning 32 years, and is a civilian instructor for several vehicle classes and an authorised examiner. He was very good at putting me at ease, but I let nerves, impatience and old driving habits throw me. From start to finish H&S were brilliant, from the ladies in reception to my instructor. Having tripped up, I've decided to beg, borrow or steal the money for additional lessons and test. If I could offer any advice, it'd be don't be arrogant, as I was, and assume driving a 12ton, 33' long wagon islike driving a big transit van. If you go in and use autopilot whilst driving, a failed test might be the best outcome because on the roads, second chances are rare if you mess up. Five star training, and what I've learned has improved my normal driving a hundred fold.”
