Inspiring lectures and in general well organised. I appreciate if lecturers talk little louder. Enjoyed and appreciate the content inside the goody bag however the bags seemed to have been designed exclusively for ladies. I would be grateful to see some suitable for men as well.

Harley Academy's level 7 Aesthetics Course provides a comprehensive introduction to the field of medical aesthetics. The foundation day has given me a good foundation to build on.

This was a very enjoyable day. It covered all the details of how to start doing asthetic procedures including products, notes, consent. There was a live demonstration which was a very valuable experience of seeing first hand how to do the procedures. The dummies used for practice injection were also very realistic. The faculty were very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great course, friendly atmosphere and easy to find location. Would highly reccomend "harley academy" to anyone considering embarking on a carrer change into the aesthetic industry.

Nice ,cozy, useful course covers basic anatomy and techniques. I believe more typical sites of injection should be added along with products like Dysport Botulinum toxin A which are commonly used in the industry.

Very good introductory course to aesthetic medicine. Covered a wide range of important topics without being overwhelming. Good opportunity to be hands on.

I found the content OK, I think worksheets to do before would have been beneficial especially around the areas that cause the most concerns whilst giving these procedures. I found that the professionalism was let down. I was highly distracted by the other 2 people leading the day, they were whispering, talking and laughing through most of the presentations with valuable content, when you pay this much for a course, you do not expect this from the people attending or people giving the course. I asked for help of allocation of an injection and was refused an answer and told he will show me when he does a live procedure. However this was not my preferred method of learning, I learn kinetically not visually. It would not have taken long to show me, and this is what we had paid for. After attending, I was made very aware that the course was a waste of money for nurses who cannot prescribe! This could have been identified on the website before hand. Easy Location to find and Easy to get to, food and drink was at a high standard.

The foundation day was well structured and in a very comfortable learning environment. We were looked after very well. The speakers were all well informed and knowledgeable. My only criticisms are, I felt we needed more time to practice and more explanation about landmarks. It was very rushed. More anatomy and physiology. More time to ask questions. A prescribing course would be hugely beneficial. It's quite unsettling that you can't practice unless you find someone to prescribe for you. Also the price of mentoring should be make clear from the outset. Myself and a few other girls all understood that it was included in the L7 price. I left the day feeling confused and anxious about how to proceed with a future in aesthetics.

Amazing experience, with all the necessary fundamentals in aesthetic medicine!

Good venue and catering. Bit confusing on arrival as no dedicated meet and greet personal or signage where to meet. Good lectures, nice personal add ons. Some lecture notes missing so admin could be better with this. Got to inject real filler into doll which was good experience. Only one live model with no actually Botox live demo, more real patients would be better especially at £834 for the course. Overall an interesting, informative day.

I took part in the Harley Academy Foundation Day for the use of Botulinum Toxin Type A and Dermal Fillers as part of the new Level 7 Injectables course. I can highly recommend this course, whether taken on its own or as part of the Level 7. The day is basically split into thirds. The first session focuses on patient safety, patient consultation, assessment and record keeping / documentation, structure of the skin, ageing and common problems and risk assessment. The content was pitched at the perfect level for registered healthcare professionals who already know the fundamentals of patient management / healthcare delivery. The second and third sessions focus on botulinum toxins and soft tissue / dermal fillers respectively; both having a classroom walk through followed by a practical 'in clinic' session. If you bring your own client with you, you are able to inject under supervision, which some attendees did (this was great fun and worthwhile to observe and on reflection, I wish I'd brought my own client with me). Otherwise, you get to practice on facial mannequins which did seem very realistic. The practicals cover everything from the differences between toxins (prescription only medicine) and fillers (medical devices) and the differences between the different well known brands, to reconstructing the toxins and administration dosage and delivery, including safe and accurate injection techniques, for both toxins and fillers. The practicals cover 3 areas of toxins (glabella, forehead and eyes) and 4 areas of soft tissue fillers (nasolabial lines, marionette lines, lips and cheeks). The day was wrapped up with some additional information around the rules for purchasing of stock / issuing prescriptions, insurance and different potential business models. The learning environment was very friendly and open. The instructors (Dr Vikram and Tristan) were very engaging and informative and clearly experts in their field. They worked well as a double act and there were also some additional team members on hand for support and photographs who were all very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an excellent and enjoyable day, definitely worth the fee. I came away feeling equipped and safe to practice (although I personally will be taking some additional mentorship from Harley Academy before I go it alone). Many thanks!!

The course content was clear and concise explained in a very logical manner. Although, the delegates didn`t use live models we were able to practice on the maniquins as many times as required. All the team were really helpful and encouraging. I would really recommend this course to other delegates. Susan Crean Dentist Ireland

First of all I want to thank you for your hospitality. I learnt a lot on the day, everyone was very professional and helpful. Theoretical and practical training was very well explained and I think that I am ready to practice the procedures myself. I would definitely consider continuing the courses in the future with you. Many thanks, Dr. Edita Haxhiu

Had a great experience of the foundation day, a very informative but fun learning day. Lots to take in and understand From a nurses perspective, but lots to read and take forward for practice. I will hopefully look at continuing this qualification next year and get the level 7. Thankyou all so much for a great day.

I know I shouldn't be, but was extremely pleasantly surprised at the high quality of teaching that was on hand today. Although a day course, it does equip you with the knowledge to start out your own. Course teachers/organisers were professional and thorough and ensured all delegates were able to carry out the techniques and giving tips of the trade! I am going to go on to do the L7 training as I would like the extra credentials to set me apart from the pack!
