“Sent an email as I wasn't happy with the condition of the item and didn’t get a response. Emailed again and they said I have to send it back for replacement but I couldn't as there wouldn't be enough time. Told them if there is anything else that can be done like a discount but was denied and no further response given.”

“The Queen - Craft Lager Gift Set Beer I recieved was damaged, being a Queen collector I was very disapointed for the amount of money it cost me to send to United States, I was informed HTFW had no more in stock and wouldn't be getting anymore in near future. I won't be buying anything more from this company that doesnt back the product. Oh they gave me a 5% cash back = 1.91 Thanks HTFW”

“Product received in good package. However, upon opening the wood box, there was a crack noted on one of the whiskey glasses. Disappointed.”

“Order has yet to arrive and will not be here by the birthday that I was promised. I ordered it a month ago and was told it would be here before the 10th and its still stuck in ga. Im very upset as it was supposed to arrive before the birthday. Ive had no contact in regards to my complaint either minus the first one i was told it would be here before oct 10th its the 9th and still no arrival. I paid alot of money for this order too.”

“Delivery arrived in good time but the order was for Mother’s Day and one of the boxes was damaged. Emailed and told to return for a replacement which would not of been possible for Mother’s Day as apart from that order was okay.”

“Silver Select..Yhe best ever Jack produced ran out of production early 2000's I have managed to locate a few since although payin between £150-£250... However. Got a Bottle from Hard to Find Wiskeys so was chuffed. When I got it Home I opened only to find 1. Cork had snapped off in the bottle clearly from degradation.. the Badges stuck on the Bottle not level, and tastes very much like Single Barrel 100% and NOT Silver Select!! Possible rebottled fake but no real proof.. I know my Jack very well and not at all happy although didn't complain as what will they do..it is too Rare to replace they have now put probably their last bottle up in price to £399.. All I'm saying when dealing with Rare Drinks BEWARE. I have attached Photo's to show clearly what I mean. I have drunk all the Wiskey now, so it what it is...”

“The delivery took 6days but it was for free. The three bottles, all among the htfw relatively cheaper products, didn't impressed me but after all, they are not htfw produced. But specifically, the Provenance 9year old Ledaig is a 65 £ DISASTER. They should give it for free. Not drinkable and much worse than the cheap 39£ standard 10yo Ledaig that could be found anywhere. James Eadie also have better bottling than the 10yold Teaninich.”

“Received my order quickly however was disappointed that the 2 miniatures complete with cartons were not sent in a cardboard box but were sent in a rolled up Jiffy bag and the minis and cartons did not have any additional bubble wrap to prevent the cartons from being squashed. Considering these minis were not cheap (£25 each) they certainly should have been better protected.”

“Package was stuck in Customs. Trying to figure that out was a nightmare. Finally got package and bottles were packaged nicely but still got a $60 Fedex bill for Customs paperwork even though HTFW charged me for all those fees. Very frustrated. Great products but the process and the hassle is very frustrating. Don't see why HTFW includes all the shipping and fees when they charged me but yet I am still getting billed...makes no sense. Buyer beware. Not an easy process even though they have great products. Wish it was easier so we could by more, but now I am hesitant.”

“I ordered two glasses for £15 because I only wanted 2 to give as a gift, even though they are £20 for 6 at John Lewis. They came after quite a few days which was not good for £5 postage in just in an outer cardboard packing box and were wrapped in bubble wrap, not what I wanted to give as a gift. The website said "pack" and due to the expense I did at least expect a gift box fit for giving as a present. The company did send a box from a different manufacturer for me to use but it was hassle I could have done without. Glasses are fine but it is better to buy a box of 6.”
