We had an issue with a bed being faulty. It took us a while to get in touch and to reply to emails but Amiee on their customer service team was fantastic. She replied very quickly and helped us identify the parts we needed easily and rectified the issues with minimal fuss. Very good service.

Product is good overall however it had a couple of minor faults and I tried to figure it out with Aimee in customer services. All she seemed to care about was telling me how I voided my warranty by correcting a manufacturing fault (drawer runners where fitted the wrong way round) than actually helping me resolve another issue around broken parts. Onus was put on me as a customer to go away and find part numbers for example. Happy Beds do not make, manufacture or store beds; they are merely an intermediary, I doubt many of the staff have seen another bed bar the one they sleep on. Although the product will ultimately be a good one (if the new parts ever arrive), I would never use Happy Beds again due to the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Another member of staff wouldn’t even talk to me because my case was being dealt with by Aimee. All I needed was a set of middle slat holders, hardly rocket science. A company overrun with bureaucracy and blaming the customer as a matter of course. AVOID at all costs.

We bought a Trundle bed from Happy Beds end of June. The bed started making creaking sounds in about 2 months time, with small wood chips falling from the bed. In just 2 weeks after that , the side of the bed holding the bottom portion literally broke/tore, causing my son to fall down while lying on it !! Instead of apologosing to us for the poor quality of bed that was delivered to us, Happy Beds came to a conclusion that it was because of misuse and that someone would have stood on the bed , which was completely untrue ! Extremely poor quality of bed delivered to us, dangerous too and on top of that very poor customer service. Imagine this had happened to a bunk bed and not a trundle bed with someone sleeping on the bottom bed !! Extremely unhappy.. avoid at all costs.

We have ordered a mattress from this company before and really liked it so ordered another. We were in the house all morning and the delivery company stated that they had attempted but failed to deliver and sent happy beds a copy of our front door. Happy beds said that it was in their Ts and cs that the only option now was to pay £50 for a new delivery or £100 for a refund- I was left with no choice but to pay £50 for a refund as they only allow 48 hours to make this decision or automatically go for the refund They delivered the mattress today and it is soiled and dirty. The options were to deliver a new one or refund me the £50 which they took from me I now have a brand new dirty mattress but at least I am not £50 out of pocket Not happy at all

The mattress I purchased was absolutely awful, has the equivalent of a sinkhole in the middle! Just two nights sleeping on it has led me to three physio sessions. Trying to return the item is proving harder than with any other retailer I've ever dealt with. No response to my initial email, then when chased up a rude response claiming they'd already responded (they hadn't). I'm now having to make videos to prove it's faulty, and they are claiming I need to wrap the mattress as new, arrange my own courier to return and have the courier go into the office to get a proof of receipt from them. Terrible company - please save your money and avoid!

AVOID AVOID AVOID! This retailer has a host of T&C's which mean that if you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged or incorrect product, when you would normally expect a replacement with minor inconvenience to you, instead you could wait for weeks to get this sorted. You have to go through taking pictures, unpacking and repacking the product and emailing back and forth. I have never experienced this before, and will never use Happy Beds again. Read on if you'd like the full detail of my experience. We ordered a superkingsize bed from HappyBeds, delivery came on 1st September as agreed, great. That's unfortunately when the problems started - we opened the first package to discover several marks and damage on the main headboard and the second package to find more damage and stains on the footboard. Rather than open anything else, we immediately contacted HappyBeds to inform them. Happy Beds replied to say they needed the part numbers, which meant we had to open up all boxes fully to find the instruction manual (which is buried with all the screws etc). We did this, informed HB's of the part numbers, sent pictures of the damaged headboard and footboard, pictures of the boxes upon delivery and pictures of the delivery labels for the batch numbers. I asked then if HB's could arrange for a pick up and replacement at the same time (and ASAP, as we had no bed to sleep on). HB's replied to tell me that ''i am afraid the manufacturer would not look to exchange the full item should only parts 1 and 2 be affected'' (bear in mind that parts 1 and 2 are the headboard and footboard!) ''We would require you to check all of the individual parts and pieces for any manufacturing faults prior to raising a claim under your warranty, as we do state in the terms and conditions this must be done within 48 hours of receipt''. So, we then had to open all three boxes fully, and check against the instructions to see if we had all parts and if any more were damaged, then repack it all - as you can imagine, quite time consuming, inconvenient and stressful! We then advised HB's that the side rails for the bed were also damaged/marked, and that we had done the best we could with the other parts, but as we could not assemble the bed, we are not 100% sure if all okay. HB's then agreed to a full replacement (hurrah!) but earliest this could happen was another 4 working days in the future. We were also asked to reassemble and repackage the bed and send (yet more) pictures/proof of this having been done. I expressed my dissatisfaction at the length of time this was taking, all the the photographs needed and the fact we had already been sleeping on the floor for 3 days. I also explained that we had not assembled the bed (see earlier emails!) and it was all packaged and did not understand the need for more photo's. By this time, it was all very frustrating and stressful. HB's response was that they were sorry, that they are the online retailer only, 15 days is the trading standards turnaround and images of the packed item required otherwise they cannot arrange the exchange. I send 'evidence' of appropriate repacking the same day (3rd Sept) and had not received a response by 5th so chased up late afternoon and then the following morning. I was so stressed by this point.. my kitchen was full of huge boxes waiting to be collected, we were sleeping on the floor, and the whole process felt very uncaring and not good customer service. We received a response on 6th in the afternoon. Apparently my chaser emails had ''pushed my ticket to the back of the queue'' so the earliest we could now get a redelivery was 6 days later, on 12th - 11 days after the original delivery. So, new bed arrived as promised and old one collected. We opened all boxes. Most was okay but a small amount of damage on the main headboard (luckily on the back). I immediately advised HB's that I was going to keep this one, as I cannot go through all of that again but I was hoping for an offer of compensation for the stress, inconvenience and general rubbish customer service. After asking for more photos of how the packaging looks on delivery, plus the damaged part. HB's have offered £50 in recompense for the damaged part only. It's in their T&C's ''as a business, we do not offer monetary compensation, and cannot be held responsible for any consequential losses''. ''whilst we appreciate you may be unhappy with the process, we must remind you that you had agreed to following it whilst placing your order should any errors arise'' If you look through all of the other bad reviews, when something goes wrong, HB's have written themselves out of any obligation in their nonsensical 'T&C's' which they refer back to at every point possible. I've declined the £50 offer and am instead taking the time to warn others who may be considering buying from Happy Beds.

Outstanding customer service from Tina and Toni. To cut a very long story short, the courier company mucked up. Tina and Toni worked tirelessly to resolve the situation, constantly updating me on their progress. I am so so grateful. Oh, and really pleased with the mattress too. I would highly recommend Happy Beds and wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
