“My daughter had a Scooby Doo party for her 5th birthday. There were 30 children ranging in age from 3-5. Our entertainer was excellent from start to finish, keeping the children captivated with clues, fun games and lots of interaction with each other which was great! Thank you Kinder party, I would definitely recommend you to friends.”

“Leonie was early and set up well in advance. Smiling all the way through and managed to keep 10 three year olds entertained for 2 hours. We would definitely recommend her!”

“Had a birthday party for my little boys 5th bday. There were 18 boys below the age of 5 and Chelsea did a brilliant job. She was very good and kept them engaged for the whole 2 hours. All the parent present were very pleased. Thank you Chelsea for making my little boys day so very special.”

“Thank you for a really well run party which was loads of fun. Kate kept our group of boisterous 4 and 5 year olds happy with loads of fun games which managed to include all the children throughout the party and keep them entertained. Everyone went home very happy. Thanks!”

“Dear Happy Kinder Parties - Vicky, our Pink Princess! Our daughter had her fifth birthday magically transformed by Vicky who entertained 30 little children with such lively, sweet, impressive games aimed at exactly the right age group. All the children at the party were intrigued beyond belief (even my 7 year old son who vowed he could not possibly be part of a Pink Princess Party! - Well, he was first in line with the cheer-leading shakers and the bean bag games and the funny talks about "What do you brush your hair with? A pineapple?" Many thanks for a great day! Hermione, the Birthday Girl was mortified when it was over and wanted to do it all again!!!”

“So pleased I booked an entertainer from Happy Kinder Parties. It was a party to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday and I was hoping to find someone to entertain our younger guests while the adults had lunch. And wow wasn't I pleased that I did! Undoubtedly the stand out success of the party as all the parents could relax as the children were totally distracted and had so much fun with Helena who had so many tricks and games up her sleeve. Highly recommend!”

“Unfortunately we weren't impressed with the entertainer that was sent to our daughter's party, her microphone was broken, she didn't seem overly happy to be there and didn't use the smoke machine much that we paid extra for.”

Dear Ocean, I am so sorry to read your review. I have spoken to Katie at length about the party. I really apologise about the microphone braking. As she was unloading her car it rolled out of her bag, and then didn't work for the party which is a shame. Katie said she explained that this wouldn't be a problem, as sometimes clients request we do not use a microphone, and so she has had experience of parties without a microphone. Unfortunately these things sometimes happen, but it certainly wasn't the way we would like, and would be happy to give you a part refund for her microphone not working as it should. I am very surprised to hear that she didn't seem overly happy to be there. Katie regularly gets outstanding feedback and really loves her job as a party entertainer. She felt the children were really enjoying the party and the activities she was providing. Katie said she used the smoke machine throughout the party, and the children seemed to enjoy it especially during the disco section at the end. It is sometimes difficult to strike a balance to doing the smoke machine to make the disco lights effective and not making it too smoky for the children, so I really apologise if you feel she did not gauge this correctly. “The kids had a really nice time. The entertainer had a variety of games and tricks up her sleeve to keep them busy and burn some of that eternal energy that my kids and their friends seem to ALWAYS have. Well worth the money! I would definitely recommend the service.”

“We were delighted with Mary from Happy Kinder Parties and the rapport she had with the children. There was a good variety of age appropriate activities and the children had a wonderful time. She was punctual, professional and polite and all anyone could want from a party entertainer for young children. In fact so much so that we requested her for the next big party we had for our son when he turned six!”

“Kate was a fantastic Princess Leia entertainer. She was punctual, very professional and age-appropriate. Great activities and Frankie felt very special. kids were fully entertained for the whole time, so the parents could chill out together and enjoy the party too!”

“Jules attended our son's party and she was absolutely fantastic! Her enthusiasm was great - and it was such a help to have her around during the food (when most other entertainers have a 'down time'). She arrived early to set up and dealt with my children's enthusiastic questions amazingly! The games were great - and when the children were afraid of the parachute games, she quickly changed pace to match their preferences. I would book Kinder Parties again, and would love to have Jules back! Thank you for a stress free party!”

“When I first heard from my friend about happy kinder I thought I give it a try for my daughter , last year we booked for frozen Elsa ,she was brilliant , she came half hour early setted up ,the kids all thought she was brilliant , my neighbour came over and said she was worth the money . This year I book rapunzel for 8 children, she was half hour late didnt do half the party events that were done last event , she didn't make balloons for all the kids ,no glitter tattoo , all the sponge tattoo were not something the kids were happy with, no balls , the sweets were not veg (gelatin) . I booked for 2hr which I got ,but not very happy with this character .”

Dear Aisia, I am so very sorry to read your review. I have spoken to Jay Dee your entertainer, who was very upset to read your comments. I am so sorry Jay Dee was late. She told me that there was a West Ham football match in your area which she hadn't accounted for, so although she left an extra hour than needed, the traffic was standstill. This is of course not your problem and I would be happy to give you a part refund to compensate for her late arrival. Jay Dee also mentioned that you said the children were staying until 6pm, so she offered to entertain them for extra time on top of the 2 hour booking to make up for her arriving late which she did. Normally we do balloon modelling for the first 5-10 minutes and then get going with the party activities.The problem with balloon models, is sometimes clients want games and activities that include all the children, instead of one on one activity like balloon modelling. We can of course make balloons for each child, but just need to be told that that is what you want. As it wasn't mentioned in the booking requests, and you didn't mention it to Jay Dee on the introductory phone call, or on the day, Jay Dee was unaware this is what you wanted. Jules went around the table doing glitter tattoos for the children as they ate. The glitter tattoos are applied with sponge as it is face paint. We can provide temporary tattoos if they are requested, but have found that using face-paint glitter tattoos is better, in case any of the guests are not allowed temporary tattoos, as they wash off easily. Jay Dee felt that as the children were 9 they were a little old for the ball game, however if this game was requested she could have of course included it in the party. Jay Dee had Haribo mini-packs for the pass the parcel, as these are made in a nut free environment which we have found to be the best to use as it seems to be such a common allergy nowadays. We do have parties that request different sweets, or even a parcel without anything edible, which we can cater for without a problem. If we had been made aware that the children were vegetarian she would have packed the parcel with different sweets. Luckily Jay Dee had Starburst sweets on her which she swapped for the vegetarian children so they didn't have to miss out. I am sorry for your disappointment and really hope the explanations above help. Jay Dee is very upset as said you and the children seemed happy on the day, and she is also very grateful for the tip you gave her. Thank you for taking the time to give feedback. She planned some great activities based on our conversation a few days earlier and we had a room full of happy kids as a result.
