“Handles4Homes had stock of the specific cabinet handle I wanted for a competitive price and claimed 48 hour despatch. However they took nearly 2 weeks to despatch of a 2nd class delivery. Had I been given this information at the time of purchase I would have gone elsewhere. It has given me a negative impression of Handles4Homes and I doubt I would shop here again.”

“Although the goods were fine, I had to send them back as they didn't fit. Customer services were very poor. I emailed regarding a refund as the goods were returned on 27 June, I eventually got a refund on 23 July, less over £8.00 which I queried as I has already paid the return postage. To date I have not received a reply.”

Hi, thank you for your review. We feel that you are incorrect in your summary of our service. Returns - we have a 30-day returns policy which is industry standard, and is detailed on product pages and delivery paperwork. Customer Service - Absolutely not limited - we are contactable by telephone (a lot of firms are not) and email for first class, impartial advice. Amending Orders - Orders can be amended by telephoning the sales office, unfortunately this cannot be done online as per companies such as Amazon etc. But we will always allow amendment of an order up until dsepatch. Advice & Instructions - Instructions are provided for more complex products, but simpler items (i.e. door bolts., screw-fixed items) would not require 'instructions' in general.

“Unfortunately the handles were not the right side and I found the return system very difficult filling out forms on line plus I don't have a printer. If I had realised how difficult returns were I wouldn't have ordered them. I am now stuck with an unwanted order.”

Hi Patricia, Sorry to hear that you had trouble with the returns procedure. Most returns going back to any company, would need a printer to complete the procedure (labels/returns notes etc), so we don't feel our return process is particularly difficult. “Window handle continuously loosens after just a few uses because it doesn't have a lock nut. Informed handles for home twice but no response. Had to buy a lock nut myself.”

“I thought the handles I had purchased were big and chunky but was sadly disappointed when they arrived as they were so thin ,the pictures must have been blown up to show them far larger”

Line drawings and measurements are provided to help customers visualise the correct sizes of door and cabinet furniture. “Fantastic and I mean fantastic Customer Service. 5 Star Decent Product (as expected) though a tad bit expensive. 4 Star SHABBY/POOR packaging - I'm surprised the package withstood the transportation and didn't burst open. No Star. Paid for Courier door to door. This was delivered to a POST OFFICE. No Star. For an order valued at close to GBP 400, the packing and shipping choice was cheap. No point selling a high end product with a cut corner mentality. I would order the product and/or variations of the product again but from another e-commerce platform.”

Please be assured that the parcel was packed well when the order was despatched, something we pay extra attention to when sending internationally. We despatched your order to Hong Kong via Parcelforce, so can only assume that the along the way the delivery was subbed to a local courier which could explain some of the damage to the box. “Disappointed as website suggests product is available and delivery is within a few days. Then told that actually is on back order and isn’t expected for over a month. Meanwhile credit card has been debited. Site should obviously advise that product is not available.”

“poor quality control by both the manufacturer and handles 4homes five faulty pairs of handles out of nine pairs is very poor and should never been allowed to happen I decided that because I had no confidence in the company to ask for a refund.”

hi Matthew, Thank you for your review, for the record, 5 of the sets of handles you received had screw on roses which you had trouble unscrewing - we did offer you advice to get them undone, and finally to replace these sets free of charge, but you decided to cancel and return them. We sell 1000's of handles and unfortunately we have to rely on the manufacturers quality control to a certain degree as we (or any other supplier) would not be in a position to unpack and check every single handle they send out on every order.
