Items turned up a day late which caused issues as a carpenter had been booked. Items when received were of a good quality. Would I use them again? Probably not.

Handles were basically OK BUT, 1 screw was badly made with no slot and all the handles needed lubrication. The spring back was too strong so I removed one spring from each pair and in doing so the circlip of one immediately broke as it was over-tempered and too brittle. Summing -up, overall good handles let down by details requiring work that should not have been necessary.

When placing my order I was given the option of delivery instructions . I asked for it to be left with one of two neighbours and gave their addresses accordingly. When I returned from work I found that the package had been taken back to the royal mail depot . This meant that I had to make a journey to collect it and I now have to make a separate visit to my client to fit the handle set because I left too early the next day to collect it . As a busy Trade's man I cannot wait around for a delivery so trusted delivery options are essential .

Hi Mr.Gorton, Thank you for your review, we are sorry to hear that your delivery was not left as instructed, however because the order was of small value, you chose it to be sent via Royal Mail, which then makes it a little less flexible on delivery instructions. the majority of our deliveries are made using Interlink or DPD, who offer a 1st class delivery service which informs customers all the way, including the Predict service which is fully controllable by you the customer. Unfortunately it was Royal Mail that was selected on this occasion. We do hope this experience doesn't deter you from using us again, Kind Regards Adam Handles 4 Homes

Having placed my first order with Handles for homes i was disappointed with the service provided. The company at no point made it clear on their website or when i placed my order that orders placed after the 18th December wouldn't be dispatched until Jan 2016. Having placed my order around this time i was expecting to be in receipt of my order before the end of Dec in order to complete a project. If the company had made this clear i would have purchased my item elsewhere

Product offered several options wrt to colour. On delivery, the colour was wrong. The company explained that they don't have the options, despite offering them . Not sarisfactory.

Hi Aisling, as already discussed in our emails, the product option selector was showing as matching black, not matching black nickel - these electrical options are to determine the colour of the plastic parts of light switches and sockets. It may be that the overall rating is unfair, but I had expected to receive my small purchase by now: it was ordered on 17th August. I have emailed you but, as yet, have received no reply: it is, however, the Bank Holiday Weekend. I'm only waiting for a Kirkpatrick Bell Push. Perhaps, like the ubiquitous cheque, it is in the post! The door handle was a repeat order which was originally placed by my brother-in-law. However the description of the metal finish was insufficient to get the right finish. A code/metal finish would help to get the order right first time.

When placing order we gave delivery instructions. On return from short break we were very unhappy to find that the expensive parcel was just left on the doorstep.

Hello Jane, Thank you for your review. Have to admit we are a little confused, after checking the history of the tracking with DPD, your order stated ' call if not in on delivery' - our carrier DPD provide a predict service which gives the customer a warning email /text the night before, then another update on the morning of delivery?....you signed for the parcel the next day at 3.30... Received Glass Door handles, however one was broke. Forwarded photo of damage also photo of mouldy box which handle was in. Was promised a replacement handle would be with me the following day (last Wed 27/05)..... still not received!!

Ordered items, stated would take 2 -5 days to be delivered. I had to chase to find out what was happening with order. Told it would be Wednesday. Wednesday arrived I contacted again told not arrived, would be Friday. Took 10 days to deliver. I had to do all the chasing.

Only ordered because the item was in stock. Got an email not in stock, did offer an unsuitable alternative but no refund. Ordered on the 22nd Jan, delivery date sometime after 11th Feb. I run a website and always take any out of stock items off the website to prevent this happening - taking money then not delivering. - it's almost fraud. If you don't have the item don't take the money. In this instance I'm willing to wait for 20 days because it's only a few pounds.

We are sorry about the stock issue with your 2no mirror pulls, we state that our delivery on this product is 2-5 working days and they would normally be despatched within 24 hours - however the manufacturers had run out of stock hence the email. We do carry large stocks of products, but unfortunately owing to the sheer volume of products available on our website, we do from time to time get caught out by suppliers suddenly being out of stock on certain items. Placed my order on 23rd Dec, got confirmation via e-mail. Then nothing, Sent e-mail on 2nd Jan asking about order progress. As of Jan 5th still waiting for any kind of response.

Placed my order on a Tuesday by the following Tuesday had to phone and ask where my goods were, told still in the warehouse arrived 2 days later, a simple text or e- mail would have been nice informing me of the obvious delivery problems. Not good enough Hanles4Homes.

Ordered about £120 worth of door fittings from this concern who appear to offer price matching. I advised them of a less expensive supplier at the time but received no reply and price not matched. Two fittings arrived slightly faulty and I advised them. I was told that replacements would be sent and that I could keep the originals. Subsequently told they wanted the originals back. These might have been useful as future spares as I had assumed the initial offer was compensation for inconvenience and need to stay in to await the second delivery. Company appears to say one thing, yet do another. Overall not too impressed.

Order took just under 7 days to arrive although I did place my order on a Friday teatime, I would have thought the order would have been picked up on the following Monday and despatched that day but I had to contact on the Wednesday and ask why I hadn't received any confirmation of despatch and was told there had been a delay!!!. If there is a delay why no contact to let me know? On receipt of the order I realised one item I ordered was the wrong thing and contacted their Sales via e-mail as per their guide in FAQs but have had no response to date which is 1 and half days later as I write this. Simply not good enough to stay in a competitive business

Having placed my order the previous Friday a.m. and having not received any despatch details via email I contacted your chat line on the Tuesday morning to see how my order was progressing and was told it would be with me by Thursday. About 13.15 the same day, as I was about to go out the package arrived. I spoke by phone to your company about this situation and received very little sympathy, with the blame being put on 'an internet problem' Subsequent checks on the tracking service which had been emailed to me apparently very soon after my morning call, and which I had no reason to be checking after the phone call, showed that the shipment had been despatched the previous day and was in fact out for local delivery to me at the time of my call. I have no problem with the goods themselves or FedEx but something certainly went wrong regarding my despatch notification.
