“We have been to the Manor on numerous occasions and everything about the experience is consistantly “first class”.
From the first moment when you are greeted by the staff with a welcome drink mixed with bespoke botanicals chosen by James, the tour of the the walled garden with Head Chief David, to the time we left nothing it too much trouble.
We took friends with us on our last visit and enjoyed the 15-course taster menu which was fantastic in terms of variety, presentation and taste and what also made it extra special was that the staff took time to explain each course and the intricacies of how it was prepared and sourced, they always had time to answer your questions.
The wine list was extensive, varied and supported by the knowledge of the sommelier which was super helpful to me.
We really enjoyed chatting to David and his team after the meal and sitting outside in front of the fire pit with a final glass of wine.
A very special experience ,amazing food and super friendly staff.

“My wife and I booked on line just 20 minutes prior to arrival.
We were made very welcome on arrival served with a complimentary glass of wine.
We had a wonderful room in the Grace and Saviour and they managed to squeeze us in the Smoke restaurant for the taster menu with wine and it was superb.
I can’t recommend this hotel enough.
We have stayed a few time in the past and always been looked after
Looking forward to our next stay

“Everything is as you would expect from a top hotel and restaurant. Hotel is small enough to retain a personal touch. Room large and comfortable. Dinner was excellent and large grounds mean that you have a genuine feeling of being away from it all.
Only downside are the infrequent flights to Birmingham international airport which pass overhead.
Close to M42 and a short walk to train station with half hourly service to Birmingham airport and new street station”
“Fantastic experience, stayed midweek in the Walled Garden Suites, accommodation is very comfortable, we enjoyed two fabulous meals at Grace and Savour and Smoke. Looking forwards to another visit soon.”
“Firstly the staff were lovely, which is why you have a 3 and not a 2.
Our room look very glamorous, however, the bed was far too small for a room of that size, and for the rate you are charging. The toilet in the bathroom was so close to the sink I had to sit sideways on the loo. Bedside reading lamp was loose on the wall. The shower room stank with a really foul smell, I reported it the next morning and it was sorted out.
The restaurant was below average for that type of hotel. I would recommend someone visits the Apple Inn .
Because of the size of the bed neither of us got any sleep, ended up leaving early before breakfast. It certainly wasnt worth the £603.80 for 2 nights bed and breakfast.
Kind regards
Debs”
“Excellent considerate staff. Slight confusion on the room terms though as one would assume B&B at that price would be included in the rate but was charged for breakfast also whereby one could have gone to Smoke grabbed a pastry and coffee from the pantry and hit the road. Grace and Savour is definitely a saviour in terms of dining although the culinary landscape in that part of the world has blossomed greatly. An oasis with a train line too to be accessed swiftly from London! BestX”
“From start to finish, from the moment we arrived we were treated to some of the best customer service we've ever had. The grounds were fantastic to walk around but the highlight was inside. So grand and such a great setting for a fabolous meal. Top service, excellent food in a lovely building. What more could you ask for?”
“Fantastic food, service is respectful but timely and ambiance in all areas is both relaxing and inspiring. This is a perfect spot to dine and relax. The only challenging aspect is the choice of indulgence.”
“Hampton Manor was an incredible stay. We were so pleased with the service throughout our stay. The experiences from Smoke, Grace and Savour, bakery class and the wine tasting make this place an incredible foodie retreat. The location is ideal so close to Birmingham yet the grounds feel like you're in your own fairytale with a new surprise around each corner.”
“We had a lovely stay at Grace & Savour. The food was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. The grounds provided a lovely walk.”
“We have enjoyed every visit to all of the restaurants and to the bakery. It is a beautiful place, set in lovely grounds and they are meticulous in their maintenance and service. They have an excellent selection of events on too. A real foodie paradise.”
“We got married here, been to the bakery many times, smoke a few times and grace and savour! We adore the place the team here are incredible with huge passion and high standards. Forever will love this place in the years to come!”
“What a find! We stayed in one of the beautifully presented rooms in the Walled Garden suite near Grace & Savour then had dinner in that restaurant. Amazing food (David Taylor is a genius) and we loved the use and showcasing of British products. The staff were uniformly excellent but a special shout out to David and Anette Taylor. We are already planning our return.”
