Dissatisfied this time ,only took just over an hour for the clean ,didn't tidy up sufficiently, left my windows dirty,must be cutbacks because our last clean took over 3 hours and did a fantastic job

Supposed to show before and after photos; did not do so. Promised to arrange survey and quotation for moss removal. Did not do so. They may have done a perfectly satisfactory job but how do I know? Have used GutterPro for several years without issue. On this showing, I won't be bothering them again.

CAVEAT EMPTOR What was done was done well but I was under a misunderstanding that, certainly for the price charged, (signicantly in excess of your predecessor who only retired on medical grounds) all the UPVC would be cleaned. This was not, it seems, part of the deal. Doing the gutters and soffits only was a waste of time and money as subsequent cleaning of the remaining UPVC surfaces would soil much of the work that was done necessitating further cleaning.

Excellent service by Julian, gutters cleared and cleaned and conservatory roof cleaned, all at an excellent cost. Would not hesitate to use again.

Good communication and easy booking with clear pricing. However, we were disappointed with the cleaning of the conservatory roof as it remained dirty in parts and there was a residue of moss and debris left on the top.

We we mischarged being charged for a more expensive service than we had booked. We were not provided with the promised before and after shots until we requested them, and even then just "after". Our guttering was left non-functional. Neil says this was already the case, but there wasn't water pouring down the house before he cleaned them. My son who was present at the time was misadvised it was a minor job to clip the guttering back together. No job is minor at second storey height especially if you don't own a ladder.

Thanks for leaving your review, let me address your points. You were overcharged by £15 and for that we apologise. The £15 has now been returned to you via BACs. We show photos at the door before we leave the property, and will email them only by request. The gutters had grass & weeds growing out of them so you could see from the ground that they were due a clearance. Before we cleared the gutters, we did point out to your son that there was daylight showing through a gap in your gutters where a clip had come apart. We offer a gutter clearing and cleaning service and do not carry out repairs or replacement parts for gutters. We didn't quote for a repair or offer to repair your gutter, because that's not what we do. All we can do is advise, which Neil did in your case. Because the gutters were so full of grass & moss, any rainwater would have been restricted and not flowed through the gap very quickly. Once your gutter had been cleared and was flowing freely, the water will find it's way through the gap much faster, until it's repaired. I'm sorry the service did not live up to your expectations in this instance. Kind regards Andy Smith GutterPRO

Disappointed. This is the third or fourth time I have used GutterPro but the quality this time was not as before. Waste was thrown into a plant pot when there is a grid available, I was not shown on camera the work when completed and there is still a patch of weed on my side of the shared guttering.

Gone up in price from 99 to 150 in a year. Pretty short visit of under 2 hours. Dumped mud in brown bin without asking us and we do not get that collected by the council. Very dissatisfied

Price gone up by the best part of 50% from last year - paid £115, but still not had a correct invoice. Had to help clear a tricky part of the gutter this time - after he left, we realised we hadn't been shown the before or after photos.

I was in my house the whole time, waiting for the knock at the door, but I neither heard any knocking nor banging at windows, as the man subsequently claimed, nor did I hear or see any signs of the work being done. I am not saying that he did not do the work but I have no evidence of such and no indication as to the results of any work. I am aware that the van was parked on the road before the appointed time with him sat in it but that is all. When I looked out at 12.35 it was not there. He sent me an email saying that he did the work before time. I sent him a text message at 12.38 asking where he had gone. I purposely chose your company because you, on your website, promise a video of the before and after, and I have not been afforded the opportunity to see this. I am a very recently widowed, disabled old man and am easily stressed by events such as these.

Hi Robert, Thanks for your review. I'm very sorry that you are feeling stressed. It's only by getting reviews like this we can improve our service. I have thoroughly investigated the job, spoken to Peter the GutterPRO in East Derbyshire, as well as checking the logs for the job on our booking system. Peter turned up 30mins early and did knock the door. He checked the gutters manually as there was no answer to the door, and saw that your downpipe was blocked with moss and bits of tile. He dismantled the swan neck and cleared the blockage. He did email this to you at 1:15pm after the job and also explained it to your friend on the phone following the job. Pete is happy to return and show you the photos put your mind at ease that the job has been done correctly. Please email or text to arrange that with Peter directly. Having only had the gutters cleaned a few days ago, yesterday I had to go up a ladder with the help of my next-door neighbor and remove the remains of a decaying pigeon. This pigeon had been there for some time. Although not in the gutter it was at the very bottom of the gully which feeds a small gutter at the side of the house. The decaying pigeon would have dropped into the gutter with the rain fall we have had last night and today. I appreciate the pigeon was not in the gutter but in my mind gutters and gully’s are an intricate part of collecting and removing rainfall.

Online booking process is efficient. Chap turned up late, spent 4.5 hours doing a job that normally takes me 2 hours with a ladder. Left debris in the gutters (3 of the photos are of gutters that I can photograph from a window) and 3 large rubble sacks of debris on the drive for me to dispose of. The website and invoice clearly state that payment can be by cash so, as I wasn't going to be there on the day, I made a special trip to the ATM and left the correct money with my wife to hand over.... he wouldn't take the cash so I had to make a bank transfer later that day. Flashy van and uniform but poor service...... we won't be using GutterPro again!

They quoted us a price over the phone and when they got here they said that because we had gutter protectors they would charge an extra £30 to take them out and put them back in. As it is essential information to quote correctly I asked why they never asked the question and their reply was that it is up to the customer to supply that information. I wasn’t happy with getting an incorrect quote and then being blamed for it. They are the experts and should know what questions to ask to get an accurate quote. The cleaning service itself was good. Real shame, I won’t be using them again because of their customer service.
