“I ordered three 30mm x 1 metre Oak dowels at about 2.15pm on the 21st March, the order was confirmed almost immediately, the dowels, which were very well packed, were delivered to me in Cardiff at just after 12.30 as promised on the 22nd! Pleased to say the dowel dimensions were spot-on and great quality. What more would a customer want, other than excellent quality products and professional and efficient service. Thank you G&S Specialist Timber.”

“I have no idea about the quality of your products as they have failed to reach me. Your courier of choice (DPD) initially gave out a delivery window estimate, then changed it without notice, and finally lied about attempted delivery. They then dropped off the goods to a collection point of their choosing, without any other alternative. This is not acceptable. You have also failed to respond to the issue when I emailed you about it. The DPD claim of 'we saved CO2' is a joke, if someone else has to travel to collect items where delivery charges have already been paid!”

DPD will always deliver to the closest DPD collection point to your address. “The beech dowels are of the highest quality and compliment my wife’s sewing craft organisers perfectly for the top hanging rail.The finish on the end is totally professional, they are perfect she will use G&S for all future dowels. The order was easy to place with an acknowledgment of receipt and follow up dispatch update the order was delivered within 2 working days and well packed in bubble wrap. Thank you for an outstanding customer service . Wishing you all continued success.”
