“Although my orders are relatively small, G&S have always given excellent service. They have delivered my orders within 2 days of placing the orders and their pricing is equally as good. I recommend G&S to anyone.”

“Everything is as described. But delivery from an online order is ridiculously long. Most items I have bought for my en-suite upgrade have been delivered in a couple of days at most. As opposed to weeks. This is a poor reflection on your business. The website states - Most UK deliveries are shipped within 1 working day providing the order is placed before 2pm but can take up to 4 working days to be delivered. My order took 18 days to be delivered.”

Good afternoon, Thank you for your review. We make it clear on the product page the lead time for our machined products which is listed as 10-14 working days from order (image attached), the delivery information you have provided above isn't mentioned on the page you purchased from. Looking at the tracking information your order was delivered on the 11th working day from order. We have this lead time so each piece can be machined to ensure the quality is high rather each product being sat on a shelf with chances of getting damaged over time. We are sorry you felt the need to leave a 2 star review when we have delivered the product in good condition within the lead time we give. Kind regards G&S Specialist Timber

“Great selection of lime wood for relief carving - I bought these specifically for xylography. Well packaged and extremely quick dispatch and delivery. The items are significantly better priced than any UK competitors - I will be using G&S Specialist Timber and highly recommend them.”
